When I heard that this perfume was discontinued when I wanted to order a new bottle, my heart broke a little. This was my most favourite perfume ever, and she will always have a special place in my heart.
The ginger is intense at first. The pepper, ginger and bamboo give her a strong asian feel, fresh and spicy. In contrast to the vintage packaging, this scent is very modern. I can barely detect any floral elements, and there is no sweetness, a refreshing change from many popular current fragrances. This could be considered as unisex, although this scent won't fit most men.
Fossil 1954 is sexy in the most innocent way, she's gorgeous, comforting. I can't even explain this scent and I can't explain why I love her so much. She was my first love in the world of fragrances and she will be my last. I will keep the last few drops I have of this perfume in the bottle forever.

I'm so sad that this perfume gives me headaches. It's gorgeous in many ways. Wish is a fresh, sweet scent, but not too sweet. It's a heavy smelling scent that doesn't feel heavy. It's hard to explain...
It's pear, a touch of black current, and floral notes on top. I get no exaggerated sweetness from Wish. The middle is all flower, sharpness and a slight bitterness. Lots of magnolia. A hint of something like honey or beeswax. Base is of vanilla, toffee and tonka bean. I see/smell no resemblance to Angel, to the ones comparing Wish to Angel; I'm lost. Wish is its own person.

This is a very fresh, fruity and cheerful scent for every day and I think a lot of girls and women will like it. Although it is an eau de toilette, I am surprised at how long I can smell this on my skin after I sprayed it on. It smells more expensive than it is but the heaviness of this perfume is what keeps me from wearing it. She doesn't give me the feeling it should give me; going out for a lunch on a sunny day in Manhattan is what the perfume is supposed to smell like. I find it somehow too spicy for this image and weirdly enough I find this scent more suitable for the evening and night than its flanker Sunset.
The scent is fresh, fruity and slightly spicy and has good performance for its price!

Where the other Chloé scents are quite floral, feminine and "cheerful", this scent is certainly not. Nomade is tough, musky and has almost something masculine in it. I had to get used to it a bit in the first place, because it simply has a heavier character. This is not a sister of the main line but more of a niece.
I find these bold and headstrong scents a welcome addition to the thousands of already existing floral scents. I first sprayed this on when I was in Paris, looking for a perfume that would always remind me of this city.
When I had the bottle in my hand and I sprayed.. I closed my eyes and I smelled dust, dry sand and leather. Slightly musty. I see a beige and ocher colored desert in front of me. How will this scent develop further? Ten minutes later, Chloe Nomade smells intensely red, like all kinds of wood with the slightest pinch of floral. The fact is that this is a scent that resembles no other scent and is absolutely stubborn.

Then the longer the scent stays on my skin and the sharp edges are gone, I begin to understand the appeal of this perfume. I would find this scent more suitable for a dinner party, a night out, or another occasion where your perfume can have a little more zest. I wouldn't wear it to the office or on a daily basis. When I spray Nomade on, I can still smell her on my skin at the end of the day and on my clothes the scent lasts even longer.
I find this perfume very hard to describe, because she is so different and unique. A real "love it or hate it" scent.

Ah, Chloé... When I found you, I knew I had found my signature scent. I wasn't really looking for you but I sniffed you and I was in love.
Chloé starts with the fruity, fresh scent of juicy lychees, the powdery sweet scent of peonies and the exotic, creamy scent of freesias. Almost immediately the top notes merge with the heart, which consists of the obvious smell of a rose garden in bloom. The scents of Lily of the Valley and Magnolia are also found in the heart. This gives the perfume a very delicate, romantic and feminine touch, and yet it smells very sparkling and fresh. The base of Chloé consists of amber and cedar wood. This immediately gives the scent a little more depth and warmth.
This is one of the few fragrances that really works great with my skin. I somehow feel more myself when I wear her, if that makes any sense..

In the beginning, the perfume can mainly be described as a fresh, "green" rose scent. The scent becomes slightly powdery and softer due to the scent of peonies, and slightly lighter due to the scent of lilies and magnolia. It is therefore not an intoxicating, sweet rose scent, but rather a sparkling, modern scent. The rose is clearly present, so Chloé is perfect for lovers of soft, floral scents with a hint of fresh and a powdery touch. I find it a very friendly, familiar scent. Not necessarily a "femme fatale" scent, but simply such a wonderful perfume which you can spray on every day and which could really become your signature perfume.
