Tea time
My very first review - please be gracious
When I first heard of Gris Charnel, I still thought "not my cup of tea". I usually love rather sweet-fruity to gourmandige fragrances & there I had with many reviews of Gris Charnel rather less hope for it.
But he was in a trial package inside and then I had to test him of course - and what can I say? From the whole trial package (after all, 8 fragrances) Gris Charnel is me best remembered. Since I was not yet sure whether positive or negative, so I had to test him on my skin.
On my skin he smelled then clearly delicious sweetened tea (not overly sweet, rather a subtle sweetness). Definitely good I thought to myself.
What has made a nice acquaintance but love, was then the performance of the fragrance - I have had the whole day now and then a beautiful teen note in my nose, depending on how I moved or where the wind came from. For two reasons mega: one, I feel like even the top note lasts a very long time (or vetiver & sandalwood smell like tea in my nose too - I've never smelled those so dedicated ). On the other hand, I become extremely quickly nose-blind after I have applied a fragrance (others smell it usually still good, which is why I generally rarely re-spray, but of course I would also like to have myself longer what of the fragrance ) - and Gris Charnel even I could still smell after hours!
All in all, so an absolute surprise, in which I have fallen in love piece by piece, and which is so far unique in my collection. This will probably be my signature fragrance in the fall / winter.
Will also definitely test more fragrances with tea as a note - maybe that will be my new favorite note
