Girls have PATIENCE with him
Tested today at ️ 27°C/ First Impression : The start was an absolute disaster for me. Loud, bitingly cool & immediately salty... VERY SALTY, to run away from. 'Well, it's also a man's fragrance, maybe it has to be that way ... just be patient', I told myself to give it a real chance. As soon as the iris makes an appearance, it becomes more pleasant and coconut envelops you
. Sometimes it's pleasant coconut water, then like in Zara's 'White Regal', a touch too synthetic, which I like less, then softened again. This base here, pluffy vanilla (fortunately not too sweet!) with more subtle pleasant incense, I already know (just where from!? Ishq Shuyukh Gold Lattafa? ) and find it VERY suitable for summer with the coconut & iris (& salt), especially because there is still this light fluffy pinch, which clearly gives you those beach bar vibes and is not necessarily the same throughout, but still pleasant. For me (at the moment!) still a somewhat restless fragrance. (But it's a Lattafa, I'm happy to let it settle down after testing it, I hope it becomes more rounded first) Women probably need a little patience with this one. So it could definitely work in temperatures above 30°C. For men who like aquatic fragrances or are looking for coconut and beach vibes, this should be a safe bet. Absolutely not a flop, but also not my 10/10 that I was hoping for (after a few YT performances), as I'm looking for the ultimate coconut summer feeling fragrance (and have now given up the search for women's AND unisex perfumes, because they all become too sweet for me from 30° heat).
Conclusion for all(!) who are looking for coconut: worth a test.

Lighter BO with licorice!
"Fleur Noir" is basically a milder, more everyday "Black Opium" with what I find(!) to be a penetrating artificial licorice note. Not listed, but I can smell it and since I avoid all varieties of licorice like the devil avoids holy water, it makes this fragrance unwearable for me. But that's not the Câline's fault, it's certainly well made (=note the price!). I had it under my nose again yesterday (it's been around for a good ½ year now) & find it rounder now compared to when I had it new, but my disturbing note stands out, unfortunately it's too present. If you actually like "Black Opium" but find it too much, maybe this favorite is something for you? (But here too, less is more)

Khamrah alternative for those who find the other too sweet
Khamrah & me, that's not going to happen anymore.
I like the scent in the room itself, but on my skin it unfolds with a rancid buttery "aftertaste" that makes me really nauseous.
Curious about the newly released lattafas (& also one with coffee), I ordered a bottle of Qahwa. I tested it full of skepticism. Absolute bull's eye. It's a well-rounded gourmand, slightly darker than the original and with a more pleasant sweetness. Unfortunately, I don't get much coffee, but it is at least perceptible. Cardamom, on the other hand, is very potent throughout. Lasts almost like a Mugler, I couldn't be happier. A stroke of luck.

THE fragrance - a dream the plum
At first, the tobacco really got to me, it made it difficult for me to like you for a short time.
But then I heard it for sure, unstoppably taking over delicious cinnamon.
From the beginning, there is also a deep, dark, tipsy plum in the room.
Those who always strive for the 'Arabesque' have not yet experienced 'Plum in Cognac', because this one is so much better woven.
Vanilla makes you round and soft, call it ParfumKUNST or ART.
All "Scents of Wood" are now discovered, because good things simply "taste" better.
I won't be giving you away any time soon, even if I find it hard to rhyme.

BO'sAutumnVANILLE
I liked Black Opium when I was young, but today I can't stand the original anymore. This overwhelming sweetness throughout, without a break =Never again!
Nevertheless, I ALWAYS test the flankers, waiting for decades for 'KAFFEE. 'Coffee with a little sweetness' that never appears. Now I test them more for nostalgic reasons. YSL's "Black Opium Le Parfum | Yves Saint Laurent" landed here as a cute box flacon and it still does something to me to see this flacon, once a great love. So I tested it and yes, as usual it's SWEET. I find the start 'milder' (more bearable) than usual and with cinnamon, which always scores points. The middle is also quite balanced and does not disturb the nose. The typical BO DNA running through it tickles my senses and my brain doesn't quite know how to categorize this fragrance. Not a clear NOGO, but not an instant love either. But then VANILLE. So beautifully multi-faceted and radiant like a mandala of various shades of yellow. From pale to golden yellow, everything is there and a few peaks here and there in darker brown. Coffee? Well - it was also on the table where the mandala was created, cup already empty. I wouldn't buy it because of this milk "coffee", there are better ones and BO was never one of them.
But YES, it's beautiful, I want it (=it's long since moved in here & won't be the last one) and it won't be too much for me, at least not on days like today: autumn wind, everything gray-in-grey & rain. With "Black Opium Le Parfum | Yves Saint Laurent" you glow from the inside. If you once liked "Secrets d'Essences - Vanille Noire | Yves Rocher", you will also love Le Parfum. A different or even less(!!!) sweetness and COFFEE would be desirable, but you have Black Opium in your hand or sprayed on...
Recommendation for vanilla junkies.
