Hmpf....
Not wild at all, but rather quiet and well-behaved, "Wilde Rose" introduces itself to me. And when I think of its predecessor - Forbidden Rose - I am quite glad about that... (see comment)

Shortly after spraying, you get that familiar intense alcohol smell, which I strangely only perceive so intensely and disturbingly in Avril Lavigne perfumes.
This dissipates eventually - unfortunately, it takes a bit longer with Avril - and then you can clearly, but still very quietly, smell the mandarin and grapefruit.

Yes. That's about it. The mandarin and grapefruit become quieter and quieter until they leave me after 1 - at most 2 hours. And I’m actually not even sad about that.

I don’t find Wild Rose bad (Avril Lavigne set the bar very low with Forbidden Rose), trivial, boring - those are words I would use for Wild Rose.
Maybe the perfume works as a room scent - I’ll have to try that; but for me to wear, it’s not.

...besides, the bottle is hideous.

Today I would like to briefly write about one of the first perfumes I ever owned - CURIOUS by Britney Spears, released in 2004.
Curious made 100 million dollars in just 5 weeks after its launch and won the "Best Woman's Fragrance" award from the Fragrance Foundation in 2005.

So much for the theory! :)

The packaging of Curious is quite cute and, in my opinion, also rather elaborate and detailed in black, pink, and turquoise.
The bottle resembles a children's carousel, turquoise with a chain featuring 2 pink hearts. In the 30ml version, the bottle is adorable, but in the 100ml version, it is far too large and not very attractive.
By the way, the 100ml bottle - in the older versions - has a "spray puff." So very "Old Hollywood-like"...

Now let's talk about the scent:
Curious smells floral. Very beautifully floral, especially in the first half hour after spraying. Depending on my mood, I either love this sweet, deep, and somehow pure floral scent or find it incredibly boring. As I said - it depends on my mood.

The pear completely disappears for me; I can't smell it at all; it's also very hard for me to identify the individual flowers - if I had to guess, I would say that I can mostly smell the magnolia and vanilla. The vanilla is noticeable right from the start.

The longevity is absolutely poor, as after a maximum of 2 hours, the floral scent is gone, and what remains is nothing.
You can help yourself with the shower gel and body lotion, then you might get up to 3 hours. Not really special for an Eau de Parfum.
I've tried everything; the scent just doesn't want to last.

This scent is not exciting, no. Not for me.
A perfume that you can use daily for work, for coffee with friends - nothing exciting, but a nice floral scent surrounds you for a few hours.

I still kind of like it, but I prefer fruity scents over floral ones, which is why I hardly ever use Curious.

In my opinion, Curious fits best in the springtime. Flowers begin to bloom, and that's when Curious fits perfectly.

WISHING YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here comes the FRUIT BOMB!
For a long time, I resisted. Against Paris Hilton and everything related to her.

I was still interested in her fragrances, but just because of the name, I never took a sniff.
At a perfumery, I received gift vouchers for Christmas and found absolutely nothing there. So I grabbed the Paris Hilton perfume; there was no tester available, and I got the 30ml bottle. (Plus, there was a -25% discount)

I immediately unpacked it at home and sprayed it on...
And Paris really knows how to surprise here - a very pleasant fruit bomb comes at you.
It clearly smells very much like melon, subtly but noticeably, the pleasant apple lingers in the background. After a few minutes, the melon quiets down a bit, and a hint of peach joins in.

The whole thing is so pleasantly fruity that you would want to bite into an apple or a melon right away. As soon as I smell this fragrance, images of countless apples, melons, and other fruits come to my mind.
Sure, the scent is sweet too; but that was to be expected.

I couldn't really notice any significant changes except that the peach comes in a bit later.

The scent remains as it smells at first - which is not a bad thing at all. And the longevity is incredible. I am really impressed because with many perfumes, you can't smell them after a few hours. But Paris stays. If you spray it in the morning, you can still smell a small but very distinct hint in the evening.

The only downsides are the name and the extremely cheap design of the bottle. Those "wave lines" are just on a sticker that can be relatively easily removed, and the packaging is actually quite nondescript - there, and especially there, I would have expected something more exclusive from a Paris Hilton.
But you can overlook that because the scent is truly great, and I like it very much.

In my opinion, this perfume is more suitable for spring/summer. The fruits create a mood that is more appropriate for these seasons.

Story ;)
Today I would like to tell you a little story:

About a month ago, I had a job interview at a company where I had applied. Many applicants came, and I was among them.
The chairperson explained how everything works and what needs to be done - then she paused... looked around the room and said: "Excuse me - I'm usually not like this, but it really smells wonderful in here"

No one responded to that, no one knew who she was referring to - even though I somehow hoped it was me.
After finishing my tasks, I handed in my pen, and the woman looked at me and said: "YOU! You smell really great," giving me a smile...

Two days later, I received the email saying I passed the test and am now invited to a highly official interview.

The chairperson and someone else were present, asked me questions, and were very nice. Towards the end of the conversation, the woman said: "You smell great again today," turned her head to the other person and asked if he could also perceive the scent... He nodded and said it was simply wonderfully sweet and very subtle.

The woman shook my hand and said it would be lovely to smell that scent more often in the office.

Today I got the call that I can start working there from Monday.

(Of course, it wasn't [only] because of the scent, but still a nice anecdote)

I will also describe the scent itself to you:
To me - unlike what my predecessor wrote - it does not smell at all like Radiance. Not even similar. These are two different perfumes that have nothing in common except for the name, which is evident just from the fragrance notes.

It starts off slightly citrusy, but with a VERY warm sandalwood-vanilla touch, I think. I'm not sure about the sandalwood, but the vanilla and a slightly woody scent are definitely present from the very beginning.
However, it doesn't start fresh-citrusy, but heavy, "dark" citrus - yet it is not a night perfume and, in my opinion, not the nighttime version of Radiance, but simply the better one...

Later, the scent transforms into something lighter, more floral, but the citrus notes from the beginning remain, while the vanilla-wood scent becomes warmer and stronger until it takes over.

A downside to the scent might be its longevity, which lasts about 4 hours (for me), and its availability in Europe is not very good (very expensive on eBay and otherwise hard to find), and the bottle is not really beautiful either.

Nevertheless, I really like this perfume, especially now, and I will probably use it more often in the future! :)

***Welcome to the Circus!***
CIRCUS Fantasy takes its name from the comeback album "Circus" and the subsequent world tour by Britney Spears.
It was the first perfume that Elizabeth Arden created for an artist's album (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_%28fragrance%29#Circus_Fantasy)

The circus spectacle opens impressively with really beautiful fruits - the apricot blossom and raspberries. The raspberries stay in the background here, allowing the apricot blossom to take center stage.
You can smell the raspberry, which provides the necessary sweetness; but it remains subtle... :)

So the opening is very fresh, and this is truly the best part of this show!

When the fruits bid farewell, we come to the heart of this fragrance, and Circus Fantasy has a fresh, clean heart! :)
Here, you mainly smell fresh, "soapy" notes, and it somehow reminds you a bit of a peach/apricot shower gel...

And once everything settles, we arrive at the grand finale of the circus show - the warm, creamy base! Here, the fruits are completely forgotten, the fresh flowers are no longer noticeable; but instead, you have this wonderful, sweet vanilla scent, which does not feel heavy at all.

Circus Fantasy is very easy to wear; definitely not too strong - therefore perhaps best suited for spring and summer.
In my opinion, it is more of a casual perfume, not suitable for grand occasions like weddings, etc.

Regarding longevity:
Circus Fantasy comes across like a circus - it explodes right at the beginning, but when the curtain falls, that's it...
And unfortunately, with this perfume, that happens after about 4 hours...
