My first perfume
About 10 years ago - as a teenager - this was my first fragrance I had. Inspired by my big brother who overdosed the perfume, like everyone else at the time. A few years later, he said goodbye to my closet. I just couldn't smell him anymore, found him really sick. Now after 5 years break I "tested" it again and I must confess, it is not so bad at all! Joop Homme was unfortunately the victim of his own fans, who really carried him dead. If you hide this point and look at it neutrally. It's a very nice oriental scent. Logical - it's nothing for the office. But for one night or another to go out, why not? Today you don't smell the scent so often in public (my opinion), because the same thing happens with other perfumes as with Joop at that time (victims of their own wearers). That's why it's quite possible to dare to approach this classic again

Giving the fragrance its time
A very unique, strong fragrance, I am surprised that it is still available in the drugstores. With 3 sprays you have almost overdosed. The top note smells very pleasant for me, sweet with a male-minty freshness. After a few hours the fresh fragrance disappears and the fragrance develops very sweet, caramel-like - which is not bad at all! however, this sweet is always accompanied by this tar note which can be too much of a good thing from time to time. But it is precisely this "tarry" (Thierry-ge haha) that makes the fragrance unique. It's best to test it yourself and give the fragrance a little time. I smelled it the first time in Paris and found it terrible. It was only after the third attempt that I found him interesting. Today I like to wear it in winter
