Pour Moi
Actually, I just wanted to try No. 19 again (I was still not sure). Since I was at it, I also indulged in another Chanel classic.

I thought "TVC15 has it in his collection, so it can't be that bad."

Lemon with a green, dirty support.
The heart note comes and goes again. It's clear that there is a heart note, but it is so well integrated that I can't differentiate anything.
Oakmossy earthy wood note with a hint of vetiver.

My first impressions are confirmed in the fragrance pyramid. I cannot recognize the listed cardamom.

Either my sense of smell regarding "modern" fragrances is broken, or this fragrance is a timeless scent that fits wonderfully into this decade.

I think both are the case.

Addendum:
After I inhaled a load of cardamom pods in reference quality, I must confirm the note that cardamom is clearly noticeable.

The more I use the fragrance, the better and more genius I find it. Especially the wonderful base.

A Scent Like from a Batman Movie
Batman parks his Batmobile. A scent tree hangs from the rearview mirror, supposed to smell like lemon, but it really doesn’t anymore.
Batman gets out and locks up, because this corner of Gotham is pretty dark and run-down.

He walks through a pedestrian tunnel. It smells like daffodils. Oh no, some bum has probably just done his business in the tunnel.

It’s cold but his black cape keeps him warm.

dirty little village chapel
The namesake cathedral reveals itself as a small, dirty, smoky, and dark chapel.

It smells a bit spicy and sharp.
The daffodil mentioned in the fragrance notes can be faintly heard.
A large dose of incense adds to it.
Always underlined by a dirty dark scent accord.

Coral = Clear with Rose and Less Water
This fragrance is very similar to the scent Clear.

Only here, the aquatic "freshness" has been exchanged for latent hints of rose.

Overall very similar. After the "fresh" bergamot opening, a sweet, very subdued rose note soon emerges, underscored by the softener note typical of Clear.

Strawberry in the Dirt
Good old Neil has really dragged the strawberries through the dirt with this (for a change, quite bearable) scent.

It smells very fruity, but the strawberries weren't really sweet and ripe yet when he used them for the fragrance. That's why he threw them right into the dirt.
That made it into the scent.

Fresh (for Neil Morris' standards, fresh) strawberry scent with a dirty touch and undertone.

I quite like it.
