You smell like a father figure
Let's move on to the newest member of my collection. I have known it for over 8 months and have now emptied 3 original samples. I am absolutely thrilled. When I read that a fragrance with the name Tony Iommi was coming from Xerjoff, I didn't know until then that Mr. Iommi himself had been involved. I think you can definitely tell.
First of all, the packaging. In my opinion, this is simply Xerjoff's most beautiful. This chrome bottle with the black elements, just pure rock! The sprayer is great, if you know one, you know them all.
The fragrance. Wow, what a composition. It awakens so much in me. When I smelled it for the first time, I just thought it smelled like a father figure. Some days I smell the opening with rum and passion fruit, other days just rum. I don't get bergamot here at all. No wonder, it's also a decent opening and the rum simply takes over. I would have liked a slightly stronger passion fruit. When I do get it, it's very, very pleasant. Then we come to our superstars with leather, cinnamon and patchoulli. Here rather patchoulli and leather with light cinnamon accents. This patchoulli - incredibly well composed in the fragrance. Then it just gets sweet with vanilla and caramel, but never gourmand. This resinousness with the patchoulli makes this fragrance a feast and therefore it never seems too sweet.
What else can you say here? It just has all the qualities of a father. Strong, impressive and determined. The longevity is just perfect 10 hours and noticeable, on clothes it survives a wash. I saw that Xerjoff has released a 100ml - totally justified! I think this fragrance is simply outstanding. Definitely give it a try.

The magic of perfume
He was love! I must admit that is very fond of his brother. Is really a nice and round fragrance, although according to the fragrance components, he should please me 100%, but it became - to date, no love. The announcement that an extract comes, I thought nothing at first. The flanker madness is over-snapped to the niche. Then I had forgotten him and saw him in a store. Immediately sprayed on and what can I say? It was really love. I enjoyed him.
The whole presentation with packaging including bottle are definitely niche level. The sprayer is really good. Not perfect but good.
The fragrance. The opening is magical. Fig, cardamom and Earl Grey vibes. This is pure autumn for me. Super warm and velvety. This iris that comes is among the most beautiful I've ever smelled in a perfume. The vetiver gives it a bit of that green. This is supported with vanilla and patchouli.
I must admit that it is already a brilliant perfume. In the evening to go out he is perfect. Lightly dosed in the office also super. The durability lasts all day. On clothes it even survives the wash. I have no points to criticize at all. It is simply a beautifully composed perfume with a super durability and aura. Whereas is tends to come across more masculine than its brother. Perfect part

The real Office for Men
The title is deliberately chosen by me, because if it goes according to my nose, Ormonde Man is the perfect companion for any situation so virtually what Jeremy wanted to create, which has not really worked.
No worries, zero negativity, just my 10 cents on this.
I hadn't heard much about the brand in the past and came to it when I was on quite a few FB groups. Ormonde Man was the brand's first stop and man was this a fierce thing. It was touted with as the "white shirt" scent which made me curious. A 10ml bottling ordered and this quickly made empty.
The bottle is just classic without a lot of frills. The sprayer is excellent. The packaging I find super successful, looks super valuable and fits perfectly to the brand from London - bit of understatement.
The scent. This starts tangy with a juicy bergamot paired me the juniper berry. Whenever I perceive juniper berry in perfumes, I immediately think of my fragrance love Insense by Givenchy. That's why I think Ormonde man is so great even though the two have zero in common. The juniper berry remains present along with the fir. I don't find these as distracting now as some describe. I wonder if there's oud in it I don't detect it, but probably because it seems super balanced to me. The drydown is classic fougere with musk, sandalwood and cedar. It doesn't lose that green in time at all which makes me happy.
In conclusion, what else can be said? He is a great all-rounder with super quality. He adapts to the wearer, whether suit at a wedding or in leisure with T-shirt and jeans. I think it's just great, most people won't know this one anyway which makes it really exceptional. The durability is really great with very long 8-9 hours you have fun. Will soon move in with me

Signature is you?!
Each Parfumo, who has quite a few bottles in his collection, but always looking for the signature fragrance, could perhaps be right here?
I must confess that I have worn no fragrance more often in the last 6 months than this one. He simply steals my senses. A real masterpiece from the house of Micallef. The packaging plus the bottle are real works of art, you have to let the house already.
The sprayer? The is not the best, but here you can just spray a little more.
The scent. Starts off just lovely with a cardamom lemon mix which introduces it perfectly. The fragrance is definitely sweet-spicy no question. The further course of the fragrance makes it slightly green by the hemp but also the currant dances with cinnamon. Yes exactly, a pretty sexy mixture that is excellent.
The drydown is wonderful and as mentioned many times before it leaves this wonderful shaving cream note which is due to the tonka bean with musk?
How fierce is this fragrance please? I think this will be a candidate that will be with me for years as one of my signature scents. It lends itself perfectly to that. In the seasons I would tick everything except summer, although there are exceptions here too. Super round fragrance that is simply what special, although he does not seem after.
Durability was good with me, could be a tad better, but there you can not complain at all. The people in your environment will like him very much, believe me :)
Absolute purchase recommendation also for myself :D

Polarizing mixture
The longer I am interested in the subject of fragrances, the more I move away from the mainstream. Is this the natural way of a Parfumos ?
I used to be the biggest advocate of mainstream fragrances and now ? I'm totally revamping my collection and only interested in the niche.
Xerjoff - there's no getting around it.
He has long been a candidate I wanted to look at but now I know exactly what I feel with this fragrance.
He is for me a heavenly blend as he is in the book, namely fruity / sweet. Sounds easy ? Is but the opposite and only Erba Pura has me so gripped. The comments in the appendix show that, despite the composition, it is totally polarizing. I can understand because its durability definitely lets others share in this fragrance. On me he holds over 12 hours whereas the first hours are relatively strong.
I love the opening with that wonderful bergamot along with the fruity sweetness we get in the heart notes. The opening only lasts 10 minutes after that we get to the heavenly fruit cocktail. It's amazing. Some say it comes across as totally synthetic? I don't think so. The base note joins the fruit beautifully. It has a beautiful vanilla in the drydown with this bitter white musk - celebration I totally.
Some say that it comes across as feminine? Could be but I find the just unisex. The have also funnily enough more men in the collection, but down in the diagram, more people vote for feminine. I see everything similarly :) He is for me classically unisex.
The bottle, it's just a blast wrapped in velvet and that turquoise color, just beautiful.
The comment is a little different than my others because I write here more on the pulse because I "still" do not own a flacon. But the will probably go into my collection so a beautiful fragrance is.
