I understand the buyers and those who do not buy it.
I personally would not buy it. I received a sample from a very nice forum user. The scent starts very citrusy with what I consider to be a really good, fresh, unique undertone. Citrus in the top note is nothing special, but the projection/sillage is simply pleasant.

The heart note strongly reminds me of the CK One Essence version. Both are listed here with "Calabrian bergamot" which is dominated by a rather unpleasant, chemical, cheap-smelling scent.

I seriously wonder what the ingredients of the perfume cost. I would suspect that the scent has some cheap components, but then it is overshadowed by a few higher-quality substances, for example, a CK One Essence.

Is this a 100-ml-300-€ fragrance for me? Absolutely not. The metallic chemistry would need to be removed and presumably more expensive ingredients would need to be added. In my view, the hype is due to the name and exclusivity.

Price Performance Banger!
Recently tested the Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme on my wrist. While wearing it, I liked it less. Afterwards, only the orange scent was still very noticeable on my sports watch. The remaining scent, which lasted a long time, I liked very much! For me, the original is a fragrance with potential, but due to the price and the rather mediocre impression on the skin, it’s not a purchase.

I sprayed the dupe, Absolute Sport by La Rive, 3 sprays on my wrist and after about 2 minutes took my first sniff. I was pleasantly surprised! A really solid dupe without any off-putting notes. The orange note is a bit too strong for me, but it is also present in the original, and I can handle that. There’s nothing biting or annoying for me, which I often notice with cheap perfumes. In the dry down, I perceive the dupe as a bit dirtier/smokier. For me, the scent blends after about 1-1.5 hours and then fades quite quickly. After a good 2 hours, you really have to get close to the wrist to notice anything from the 3 sprays.

Bottle: This can definitely be skimped on if more money is put into the perfume. With this price, savings have to be made somewhere, and it was saved in the right place.

Conclusion: I will buy the 30 ML version for €3.95. For the backpack or in the glove compartment, it’s a fragrance that you can also spontaneously reapply after 1.5 hours. For me, a sufficiently good dupe at a top price in travel size. Those who love the original might even enjoy it more than I do!

Clear purchase recommendation!

Best Aquatic Scent for Me
I don't really like the eau de toilette and eau de parfum versions. However, I really like the perfume. For me, it's a fresh scent that works well with a T-shirt or polo almost all the time. Definitely one of my top 10 fragrances. My only aquatic scent - and it's more than enough.
Currently with a magnetic cap - not necessary, but nice :)

Perfect Shirt Scent
I love the scent on a white shirt. I'm not sure if it has changed over the years, but I find the current version perfect. It could perform better, but with my travel sprays, that's not an issue anyway.

All the women who have smelled it liked it, my father likes it - top scent.

Good P/L - More woody or more sweet?
Great scent for the price. Very close to the old Maharaja d'Or by Rituals and cheaper. Unfortunately, I don't have a direct comparison, but I believe the similarities are over 90%.
I find "sweet" is not an accurate description - maybe someone has a more fitting word for this woody scent?
Not a successor to SoCal as it is called at Hollister.

Hollister - Bring SoCal back and keep Beach Bonfire in the lineup.

You have to spray it quite often, but the scent is then well perceived. Clear recommendation to buy -> but I would prefer SoCal!
