Good P/L - Rather woody or rather sweet?
Top fragrance for the price. Very close to the old Maharaja d'Or from Rituals and cheaper. Unfortunately I don't have a direct comparison, but I think the similarities are over 90%.
I don't think sweetish is an apt description - perhaps someone has a more appropriate word for this woody scent?
Not a successor to SoCal as Hollister calls it.

Hollister - Bring back SoCal and leave Beach Bonfire in the program.

You have to spray quite often but the scent is then also well perceived. Clear purchase recommendation -> but I would rather have SoCal!

Youthful everyday fragrance
So I go into the Hollister with my wife and because I'm bored I have a sniff around the perfumes.
This fragrance catches my nose and I like it straight away!

The name conjures up an image of young people on the beach who have lit a bonfire - even though it's forbidden - and it's getting dark.

So I made short work of it and took it with me for a tenner.

I find the fragrance DNA very nice, warm, a little fresh, sweet, a little woody, a little synthetic, youthful, not oppressive and - contrary to the name - not smoky. So it's not By the Fireplace.
Something for everyday wear, for teenagers at school, perhaps as a first perfume. Wearable at any time of year.

Despite the good DNA, I have to say that it could be stronger and longer lasting. Unfortunately, I quickly become scent-blind from it and it gets close to the skin quite quickly, so I would give it three/four hours on clothes, skin less. Silage is present for me for the first half hour.

The progression is simple, the beginning remains continuous until the fragrance is completely gone.

Conclusion: A beautiful, straightforward fragrance that could do with more longevity and appeals to the youthful target group, but unfortunately falls just short of the price-performance target due to its longevity.

Even if it is not listed as such here, the bottle states that it is an eau de cologne.
