Great frag, but performance severely lacking …
Aventus DNA, but not an Aventus copy or clone — it’s in its own distinct lane. All-year round citrus freshie that’s inoffensive and very office-friendly. Lacks performance, even for a freshie, my only criticism of this fragrance; on my skin lasts just over an hour before settling into a skin-scent for another hour before I’d need to reapply. I imagine it would last a little longer on clothes. I’d probably gift this but won’t be re-adding it to the rotation as the performance leaves a lot to be desired.
Aventus DNA but goes its own way.
This has more depth than current batches of Aventus and far FAR better longevity and projection. A bit oakmoss-heavy in the opening and initially comes off dirty/dank and wasn't my cup of tea ... but give it 15 minutes and the incredible mid and drydown set in. All-year winner, extremely versatile — if I had to settle on just one fragrance for life, this would be it. Signature-scent worthy.
EDIT: a couple of sprays is plenty, go easy on this one. Easy to go anosmic to, but it's there — and it's not lurking either. Picked up whiffs of this the next morning, after a full working day.

Perfection…
Warm weather perfection, surprisingly long-lasting freshie. Other than value for money, I can’t fault this in any way.
Oh, and the name…there’s nothing ‘beachy’ or aquatic about this — this is a minty green fresh frag all the way. More like woods and wet forest green, just after the rain, that’s what I get.

Not for me...
Tried to like this but this is an affront to my senses and I think it works best as an extremely light application (read: one spray) to layer with and boost a light application of Sauvage EDT. Cooler weather only, maybe Fall/Autumn if lightly layered with Suavage EDT. Some might like this but personally it's not for me — too cloying.
I will say though that this is far and away the best Sauvage on offer at this point.

A better balanced and more crowd-pleasing take on Oud For Greatness.
I liked Oud for Greatness...but I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. An all-year round frag, though you'd have to tone it down quite a bit for warmer months; it shines in cooler weather, especially in the Fall/Autumn season. Insane longevity but more of an intimate scent bubble and a fleeting trail. The mid and base notes are my favorite part of the journey, top is a little cloying but this only lasts a half hour or so on my skin before you get to the good stuff. Top 5 PDM easily, maybe even my favorite PDM overall.
Wore this to the office for the first time today and was careful with the application (on-skin, three sprays, neck and chest under my shirt) and garnered two compliments by lunch.
