This is not Angels Share
I do get annoyed when people compare perfumes to others, especially when there’s a massive difference and timeframe between them,nOajan is a unique fragrance in its own right. Composed 7 years before Angels Share, so if you were to try to compare, Angels Share would be a dupe. But I’m not saying that, similar compositions, does not mean similar perfume. There are 1000’s of ways to manipulate a note to make it different. In my opinion AS is boring and its performance unexceptional.nOajan deserves the praise it gets. It’s a PDM masterpiece composed by a master perfumer. In my opinion it rates in the top 3 of PDM fragrances. It’s truly masculine, I don’t rate this unisex. The symphony of its notes are well blended, and it lasts a long time. Comforting and sensual, that can be worn in colder weather day or night.

Barn yard leather done reasonably well
I have collected Mancera and Montale for over 7 years and have tried most of them. Pierre Montale churns out too many fragrances in my opinion, they are always hit and miss. Many smelling similar with the odd note change here and there. But that’s how the brand works. They are not high end niche and not pretending to be, which is what I like. A cool bottle of nice smelling and long lasting juice at a comfortable price is all we ask.nLeather Patchouli I actually bought 2 years ago, but have only just opened the bottle. I am a leather/Oriental fanatic so anything described as leather I buy and try. nThis fragrance has no top notes to think of, it’s straight in with hard leather, smoke and a slight barnyard oud. It’s extremely masculine and I don’t smell vanilla at all. It’s not sweet it’s quite the opposite. nI would also say it’s an old school fragrance, reminded me of how my teachers smelt at school, of second hand smoke and coffee. No coffee in this but it must be the patchouli playing tricks on me.nThe longevity and sillage are strong. A dark sexy scent to be worn on a sensual night out. The juice itself is very dark so be careful wearing this with a white shirt.

Luxury Talisman Collection
Welton has been one of my signature houses for a few years now. Narcotic Elixir is my second favourite after Lucky Charm. L'Amour Absolu I tried but wasn't for me.
Narcotic Elixir is a strong projecting, long lasting gentleman's fragrance. It seems that most fragrances on this site are posted as unisex but NE is not one of them. I would not recommend this for a lady.
The fragrance is smoky-leathery with a warm amber base. The opening is slightly green and spicy and then the rose hits combined with the leather. It's quite dark but also very wearable day or night in cold weather. Reminds me of a gentleman's club in Pall Mall, sitting in a leather armchair puffing on a fragrant cuban cigar. Vincent Ricord has created some of the best amber leather fragrances for Welton, and it's nice to see that Welton are not a hyped brand. This keeps their fragrances unique and of great quality.

My signature house...
Welton London have been my signature house for a few years now. Their fragrances are unique and suit my skin perfectly. Living in London their fragrances are quite easy to come by, but I enjoy the fact that they are not mainstream or hyped. They don't reformulate as far as I know and give the perfumer plenty of freedom to use their talents to create great quality fragrances. The perfumer in this instance is Julie Pluchet, who created another one of my favourites; Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic for Clive Christian.

Lucky Charm is my go to winter fragrance for going out in the evening. I have also worn it during the day and at work but to be honest is not quite suited for that. It is part of the Talisman Luxury Collection which includes Narcotic Elixir and L'Amour Absolu, which are also in my collection.

This is a gentleman's fragrance, this is not unisex in my opinion. A gentleman who enjoys cuban cigars and a good malt whiskey. This would be lost on anyone younger than 35 to be honest. You really can smell the shisha tobacco and smokiness of the frankincense. I disagree that this is a fruity sweet gourmand fragrance. The sweetness is mild, it smells more like the wood of a humidor after many years of holding quality Cuban cigars. the amber makes the tobacco glow and very warming. Like all the fragrances in the Talisman Luxury Collection, Lucky Charm is an Extrait and has great longevity and lovely projection. The stopper is made from Bakelite, so if you know what Bakelite is, you are at the right age to enjoy this unique wonder lol.

Oh dear...
I bought a couple of samples from their website and after having read the reviews on Parfumo, I was excited to try this. I am obviously testing the latest concentration if this has ever been reformulated. I was looking for a long lasting tropical scent for my summer evening wardrobe.

The opening is the best part of this parfum. It's a strong blast of tropical fruits and alcoholic coconut. I shall describe it as a Malibu cocktail. But this is short lived and after about an hour it soon becomes an amber floral with minimal longevity and projection. I can't make out any marine notes. Although I don't like to compare perfumes this does remind me of Carnal Flower which performs better in my opinion. On my skin it was a very faint skin scent after 4 hours which is very rare on my skin, perfumes tend to cling to me.

A bit of a disappointment to be honest. My issue is I have also ordered Sex Sea, Passion Rose and Black Sea from the same house, so I am hoping they are better than this.
