Price-performance winner actually sounds silly. Why? Because Guerlain/ L'Homme Ideal EDP is a very high-quality, discreetly sweet, subtly woody and leathery fragrance (cherry, almond, sandalwood, tonka, the leather resonates subtly in the background). It is not sticky to my nose. There is something fresh at the beginning, the bergamot. The longevity and sillage is quite ok to good. The price is hard to believe. Next to it is a Naxos, four times as expensive, but is the Naxos four times better?
The fragrance composition is so far among my top 6-7 designer fragrances, but L'Homme Ideal definitely wins in the price-performance category! In the cherry fragrance category, this Guerlain beats some niche fragrances in my opinion and is way ahead!
