Antique strength in a bottle
Dear Community,
i have owned the fragrance Nero Oudh for six months now. I would like to share my impressions with you.
First of all, the bottle: the Luna series has a really high-quality design with the moon phases on the very heavy lid - the color scheme in elegant gold / black also fits the fragrance perfectly.
The name Nero is often associated with an emperor in ancient Rome who was allegedly responsible for a great fire in ancient Rome. I can reassure you at this point - the fragrance does not smell anything like 'burnt'. The epithet Nero is also derived from strength - and that's more to the point. The perfume is really strong, although in my opinion it does not refer to the oud, which is not animalic but a wonderful woody note in Nero Oudh.
The fragrance starts with similar vibes of an Ombré Nomad, but much more balanced and also more subtle. The combination of rosé and oud alternates wonderfully and the perfume reveals many beautiful facets in the drydown. Dosed correctly, the perfume is suitable for almost any occasion, although I would recommend a maximum of two sprays in the office and a little more in the evening.
The longevity is really excellent without screaming 'Here I am' too much. Caution is advised with clothing, it is still noticeable on the fur collar of my jacket even after a week...
All in all, a really great perfume that never gets boring and is really something special.
Please let me know what you think.
Kind regards,
Chris
