Quiet dreamlike mist
2030 Park Avenue is lightly sweet, fizzy, and powdery, like Sweet Tarts combined with Alka-Seltzer. The lemon candy note is distinctive yet curiously muted, as if seen from behind frosted glass. Furthermore, the entire composition feels soft and crystalline in a way that evokes rain and cosmetic powder in equal parts. The effect overall is lovely and unusual. This is not a crowd-pleaser perfume - it wears its indie heart on its sleeve - but it's not harsh or loud either. I think this would work well as an everyday scent, since it's soft and stays close to the skin. If you like fruity, fanciful rain scents such as D.S. and Durga Steamed Rainbow or J-Scent Koiame, this one is worth trying.

Warm golden tea on a rainy afternoon
This is very realistic tea, definitely chrysanthemum, with a big dollop of honey. The dryness of the wattle (Australian mimosa) is also evident, along with an herbal bitterness. The deep chartreuse color of the juice somehow describes the smell perfectly. I don't really get much of the aquatic rain note, yet there is something about this fragrance that compels me to reach for it on a rainy day. It's comforting and enveloping, but has a touch of melancholy to it.

I should mention before I get any further that I love chrysanthemum tea, and I find the smell of it therapeutic. If you have your own memories and associations with this particular tea, you will probably enjoy this perfume too. It may not be a wearable fragrance for everybody, in particular because of the dominant honey note (which could be too cloying or animalic for some) and the photorealistic tea accord (which can be quite tannic). At the very least, it's a unique and atmospheric fragrance that truly evokes the experience of drinking a cup of tea.

Transparent orange confection
The mandarin and orange blossom are the dominant notes to my nose, with orange blossom bringing its signature cleanness, and mandarin a juicy sweetness. The caramel is not heavy or particularly edible, but instead softens the citrus and makes it a bit creamy. The sandalwood likely contributes to this creamy quality too. The composition is light, fluffy, and sweet, like an airy orange sorbet. It's fairly subtle, floating in and out of my perception while wearing it, but has decent longevity. A good crowd-pleasing cheapie, sadly discontinued, and not necessarily worth seeking out as there are similar options available.

Balance of heavy and light
Light, resinous, and polite oud. The black pepper and white musks are very present, and contribute to a clean, fresh feeling. It leans masculine, and is reminiscent of some modern men's fragrances. However, I can easily see a woman wearing it. It's also not overly loud, and could work in an office or similar environment. I think this is a great choice for an everyday scent (as well as a going out scent), if you are looking for something with some depth and sensuality that still comes across as clean and polished.

Simple sweet musk
Very friendly, sweet-but-not-too-sweet vanilla musk with a slight fruitiness. The musk here doesn't feel sharp to my nose, as some white musks can, so those who are sensitive might enjoy it. It's comforting and feels fairly simple, yet not quite like anything else I own. Powdery, but doesn't personally remind me of cosmetics or vintage perfumes. However, there is something about the fruity-floral-musk combination that can go a bit generic at times, like a body spray from the mall. Even so, it's priced pretty well, and I find it pleasant and well-blended, so I think it's worth trying for those who enjoy this scent profile.
