The Playful Gentleman with the Tie in the Punch Glass
Due to the positive reviews of Gentlemen Only Absolute and my search for a sweet fragrance for the cold season, I had a nice Parfumo send me a sample blindly - thanks again at this point to YuzuFan :)
During my first test, I was already enchanted by this spicy-light woody sweetness. Initially, a pleasantly spicy sweetness emerges, which is slightly citrusy due to the bergamot. This citrus note remains true to the fragrance's development for quite some time, although it gradually hides behind the spicy heart notes and the subsequently dominant vanilla. The scent has something of a spiced Christmas punch with a vanilla pod and a minimal splash of liqueur.
Whether this composition truly represents a real gentleman of the old school, I doubt. It is probably more of a young, still playful gentleman of modern times who occasionally dips his tie into the punch glass.
This is truly a sweet fragrance that could appeal not only to gentlemen but, in my opinion, also to one or two (rather more dominant) ladies.
Definitely a perfume that belongs to the cold season!!! (e.g. Christmas market) Especially in the evenings or for outings during the months of October to December, I find it to be perfectly suitable.
Longevity and sillage can be rated as above average with a good 6 hours +. The bottle, in its simple black, is a true gentleman; only the red (visually stitched) label hints at the aforementioned playful nature of the gentleman.
Conclusion:
A truly successful sweet-spicy all-around package for the cooler season, more suitable for a younger audience.

Sillage: "Heee! Do you have a problem!!!"
Jean Paul Gaultier's - Le Mâle - has certainly accompanied many of us for several years now.
With its fragrance composition, "Le Mâle" is a true milestone among all men's perfumes.
It was created by its renowned creator Francis Kurkdjian
- now known for his own brand - "Maison Francis Kurkdjian" (e.g., APOM, Pluriel,...)
Alongside Boss - Bottled and CK - One, Le Mâle was my third perfume about 12-13 years ago.
I was extremely proud of my small modest collection, even though actually
every second person passing by me smelled like one of these three fragrances.
Anyway, the expectations weren't very high back then, and as a student, you couldn't just
easily acquire any random scent. At this point, it should also be mentioned that
parfumo with its wonderful fragrance bazaar didn't exist yet!!! :)
Le Mâle is a perfume that, through its masculine-sweet-oriental interplay, became one of the
most well-known men's fragrances in the mainstream market.
A scent with a truly high recognition value, but unfortunately also a scent that has often
polarized in a negative sense because, over time, at least in my then environment,
it was seen more as a conditioning for people with the vocabulary "Heee! Do you have a problem."
I must say that I still enjoyed having this scent in my nose, but today I am already
completely oversaturated with this smell.
Conclusion:
Le Mâle was a loyal companion for a long time but is hardly sprayed by me anymore today.
The scent directions (strongly to weakly perceivable) are, in my opinion:
sweet, oriental, spicy, synthetic, and also a bit fresh.
The sillage and longevity are really above average at 8 hours +!
(especially the longevity on clothing!)
The bottle is well-known and was a real eye-catcher at that time.
For comparison, I also tested the fragrance twin named Miro by Cabal and must agree that the similarity is truly astonishing - Jean Paul Gaultier just feels fresher and more youthful, and in my opinion, therefore, is the winner.
Le Mâle - a fragrance that, despite the propaganda from shady types asking you about your problems, has rightly held its throne for a very long time. :)

A Special Encounter...
...from a jeep on safari, near a waterhole in the heart of South Africa, a scent unknown to the animals wafts through the untouched wilderness. To the left side of the jeep, one spots a big cat with a flowing mane - the king of beasts, while to the right, a beautifully striped zebra settles down, and in the distance, a gray pachyderm, whose silhouette is just barely discernible in the sultry, shimmering air, approaches the jeep.
The dark nose of the lion carefully surveys the surrounding air, yet pays no attention to the zebra. The zebra, with its back turned to the big cat, seems unimpressed by the majestic figure of the lion and dreamily inhales unknown animalistic scent notes. In the meantime, the spicy-exotic mist has also attracted a family of ostriches, a long-necked giraffe, and the aforementioned elephant to the waterhole next to the jeep.
Curiously, various animal species from the nearby periphery gather in turn at this very spot to capture a scent sample of my perfume...
This sequence of images played out during my first sniff of Jungle pour Homme. :)
I personally find the scent truly unique and completely incomparable to other fragrances
- very strong recognition value!!!
Interestingly, it smells spicy-animalistic to me! and it reminds me,
as described above, of a special safari trip.
I rate the longevity and sillage slightly above average,
and the bottle with its zebra bristle cap fits the scent perfectly.

Pure white musk magic aroma!
My detour to the Body Shop is partly thanks to my last 3 predecessors.
By the way, a heartfelt thank you to you three -
my collection has now gained a wonderful fragrance. :)
Upon arriving at the Body Shop, the "White Musk for Men" set at a special price
of € 35 immediately caught my eye. The fragrance set includes an after-shave balm and a shower gel.
While mine disappeared among lotions and women's fragrances, I took the first whiff
of White Musk ... -WOW- ... pleasantly creamy-powdery feel-good scent.
Lost in thought, I immediately looked for a suitable spot for the gem in the perfume display.
Not even 2 minutes later, I returned with a test strip to the woman - her ...-WOW-.... ultimately fixed the spot in the display :)
The 2-3 sprays that I dressed myself with, I was able to enjoy
throughout the rest of the afternoon, and as I sit here writing this comment, I already long
for this pure white musk magic aroma again.
Conclusion:
Very well-executed clean scent with average longevity & sillage.
Nice simple bottle in a matching color - and at that price, in my opinion,
a clear recommendation to buy :) By the way, I think women could also wrap themselves in this scent!

Leather, strong leather, extreme leather!
After this olfactory experience - I need to vent here again and this fragrance is "to blame" for my first Parfumo comment :)
Due to the numerous positive reviews and comments about "La Yuqawam pour Homme," I had to try this scent - and a sample, thanks again for that, found its way to me right away.
To be honest, my expectations were very high because of the positive reviews,
but upon sniffing it, I unfortunately experienced pure disillusionment.
It is definitely a scent that one either likes - or not.
That suits one - or not.
In the end, it unfortunately does not suit me.
Scent:
In a slightly damp leather pouch, one initially finds a sweet note underlined by smoky accords. However, the mentioned sweetness quickly dissipates, and in my opinion, the smoke hides behind the leather. What remains is ultimately an intensely smelling heavy "smoky leather pouch" with a slightly floral note.
A pouch that is no longer virgin but has a few years under its belt - a leather pouch from Winnetou's times imbued with tiny floral scent molecules.
I unfortunately cannot assign any woods to this fragrance - the leather is really intense and predominates.
With this scent, one clearly distinguishes oneself from the masses!!!
Longevity, Sillage & Bottle:
Even though the scent is not my cup of tea, the longevity and sillage in their decidedly above-average existence deserve my respect. The bottle looks elegant and I personally like it very much, only the maple leaf on it misleads me and, in my opinion, has no place on the bottle :)
For me, as a "leather scent novice," it may have been a risk to start with exactly this leather water, and I am certainly still too young at 28 to wear something so heavy in leather - it smells very, very mature and could also be named "pure Leather."
Unfortunately not my scent direction, but "La Yuqawam pour Homme" certainly has and finds its lovers in abundance :)
