Ube halaya
This probably my sweetest gourmand fragrance. I usually go for woody scents, so I thought this would be ok since it has palo santo. In the opening I do get a hint of mild black tea earthiness - I wish this tea note was stronger. I get a blast of syrupy sweetness which definitely smells like dates. VANILLA even though it isn't listed. And a starchy texture which translates to Ube halaya. I do not get a "play doh smell", although a hint of wheat or hay or grass might actually help it. This doesn't smell like wheat flour play doh to my nose.
I wish it wasn't so sweet. But overall to me it is similar to Bianco Latte (which I found too cloying/plastic vanilla). The hint of black tea and the starchy ube texture save it from being a clone of Bianco Latte. I would probably need to layer this with something woody/incense or wear it in the dead of winter, which is many months away.
