a ? among the bad fragrance wearers like me...
I have to test this scent again and again because it actually appeals to me, or rather, it would appeal to me. When I ask a woman, "What are you wearing?" and she says "Pure by Jil Sander," I think "Yes, I have to have that." - Not at all, once again it shows that I am probably different.
It unfolds strangely on me; I smell some musk, which isn't even pleasant, and occasionally a hint of what it probably really is comes through, but that is so brief that I wonder how others would perceive it. However, I need to be able to sniff and like a fragrance myself (at least at the beginning).

Therefore: Unfortunately, I can't rate this fragrance; I'm just pointing it out for all those who might also have such a different strange skin chemistry (I am certainly quoting the "blauemaus" here, but I believe she sometimes feels similar to me).
I struggle to find a fragrance that smells good on me; I wish Pure were one of them. It's currently on a great offer at Karstadt; I tried it again, but no chance, nothing unfolds on me that would be pleasant. - If anyone else feels the same way, feel free to write what works for you. (For me, luckily, it's the new Eve :-) as well as Style by Jil Sander, at least something)

- I envy you Pure wearers a little.

I like it, period!
Eve doesn't seem to appeal to many - but for me, on my search for something different, it was exactly what I was looking for, and that's a good thing.
I don't own that many fragrances anyway, often go without, and that's when Eve really suited me.
So far, everyone who has smelled it on me has loved it; they said it was harmonious, or beautifully composed, or a bit fruity, but also pleasantly soft...(even my husband was enthusiastic, and that doesn't happen often - which is very important to me!)

I find Eve a bit powdery, but I can't quite describe what I perceive.
I find this scent suitable for me; maybe that will change again.
Perhaps this fragrance isn't sensational, but it doesn't have to be if I feel it suits me and if I enjoy smelling and perceiving it.
If I were more knowledgeable in the world of fragrances, my choice might be different, but that seems too tedious for me, and I often don't like other scents that are otherwise highly regarded.
My verdict:
Very suitable for everyday wear, also nice for the evening, a lovely touch that is surely pleasant to many, though not to all (that's always the case), and I believe: not age-dependent. You can try it; fragrances develop differently for everyone. For me, it can hold its own in style.

And it's good for me if it doesn't sell well; then not everyone knows what I'm wearing right now ;-)

Target audience younger??
The displays and advertising suggest a younger target audience, but I wonder if they really feel attracted to the scent?
(I would be interested to know)
I don’t belong to that group anymore, and I wouldn’t gift it to a very young woman either. However, of course, I could be wrong -
By chance, I tried the scent, even though I initially didn’t feel addressed by it, and I was then completely thrilled by how pleasantly warm and natural it surrounds you.
I tried it again and can’t quite agree with the advertising. Woman on the beach, young, sporty...? Yes? - I perceive this scent more as a very pleasant daytime fragrance, lightly floral and warm-scented - by no means intrusive and rather for women (approximately) from 30 and up. (depending on personality and type)
I can detect some freesia, woods, and a bit of warm musk, a subtle beautiful blend, not an overwhelming perfume, but that’s exactly what makes it special, so I treated myself to it. People next to me shouldn’t faint from the scent but rather perceive it as a pleasant something in the background. - It’s not hard to afford, it just doesn’t cost that much; I was able to buy it at Rossmann for just 12 euros (30ml), which is already a great price; I think it’s worth spending a bit more for this pleasant scent, with which you can’t go wrong if you like pleasantly subtle fragrances from this category.
Try it!
I think, Mäurer & Wirtz has created something good here, similar to what is often done by Mexx; I find this type comparable (price, effect... not the scent itself).

And by the way, regarding the male scent, that is the scent for him: I see it quite similarly and brought it to my beloved right away, and: he likes it (someone who rarely uses fragrances and prefers subtle ones). The shower gel also smells really pleasant.
It would be important that the deodorant for him is also available soon in a pump bottle; I reject aerosol sprays - but deodorant is often much more subtle than a full fragrance (for him).
I’m curious about other comments that might see it quite differently ;-))

pleasant fresh scent
I really like the new fragrance from Mexx for men, although I immediately categorize it for younger men. And by younger, I don't mean a specific age, but rather the overall vibe. You can't go wrong gifting it to guys around 20, give or take :-)
But I can also imagine anyone with a youthful, fresh, natural aura wearing it. It's definitely not for the elegant man, but rather for the nice jeans type with charm ;-))
I can't really pick out the individual notes (anyway), but after a while, I perceive something like watermelon, although that's probably not in there. (but maybe that's the rhubarb?)
Magnetic simply smells pleasant, fresh, - a bit bitter, so it's clearly a men's fragrance (or for women who like this type of scent).
I associate it with summer (or soon summer), cleanliness (freshly showered), and a few pleasant woods in the background, giving it some warmth and naturalness.
It doesn't last forever, but a hint remains, which is quite pleasant, and I think that's perfectly fine for the type of man - anyway.
If you're looking for that - you could find it here at a good price, that's my opinion :-))
(Of course, as always, it's all a matter of perspective)

rediscovered!
I had this fragrance in the mid-90s, and I only just found out that it was new back then.
I was often complimented on it, so floral, so fresh, so pleasant.
I've never been good at picking out the details of a scent, rather a feeling that reminds me.
I also always thought it had something spicy about it, just very lightly, but not only fresh, maybe it's the cedar and amber?
After a few years, I had enough of it; I couldn't smell it myself anymore and wanted to go in a different direction.
Now I've had it back in my sights for a year or two ;-) I've sniffed it in perfumeries again and again, but often it seemed too intense to me.
Only in the evening, when everything else has faded away, did I catch a hint on my wrist, and that was exactly what I liked. I thought long about whether to get it again... Am I still that??
Now I've done it, I'm sparing with the fragrance, I do think it's hard to overlook (smell?) - But it has something unique, I don't know any scent that resembles it, also a bit powdery, which I really like.
Today I would also say it's more for women over 30, better from mid-30s, but that really depends on the type!! So don't be put off, it's always very individual.

It has something noble for me, not a scent for sports or everyday leisure, a bit classic, but still modern enough, I wear it when I know I want to wear a perfume without standing out too much.
But, I don't want to stand out because of a perfume anyway, (as I mentioned before, it should complement, not replace ;-)
