creamy
Everywhere you turn, you read about this fragrance, everyone wants it, recommends it.
KrZa was kind enough to send me a sample, and everything I read was confirmed: beautiful vanilla, a bit of cedarwood, and amber. It smells incredibly good; you have to hold yourself back from applying too much. Last night, I received three compliments right away.
The scent goes on like oil; I would love to wash my clothes with it or mix a delicious vanilla shake, hahaha.
I’m thrilled, now I just hope that ScentStory releases something new or that I can find a bottle somewhere else...

Disappointment
After reading and watching so many great reviews and videos about this fragrance over and over again, I absolutely wanted to have it, even ordering it blind.
The friendly Showdown then sold me a decant, so I could test it (the fragrance) long-term. For half a day, I wondered where I knew the scent from.
This fresh, fruity, lemony scent is familiar to me. I immediately thought of those locker room smells, like Adidas shower gel or Puma "perfume," in any case, a "smelled a thousand times" experience.
And in one of the comments below, it says "Diesel Fuel for Life." Absolutely, I would almost call it a twin.
This fragrance lacks any warmth, any sense of comfort, just shower gel character and Rossmann drugstores, where three teenagers crowd around a shelf, giggling as they spray each other with 15 euro perfumes.
What a shame, I was looking forward to it, had high expectations, but well, there has to be something like this too...

First great, then okay
When I tried it for the first time in a perfume store, I had to keep sniffing my wrist for the rest of the day. I found it fascinating, heavy and sweet, yet at the same time bitter.
So I had to get it. But as is often the case, when you own things, they unfortunately lose their significance, and that happened to me here too. Every time I sprayed it, it smelled less good. Way too sweet, way too atypical for me, way too much like plastic. The sweetness became a figurative icing for me, and the heaviness became a burden. I was glad when I could wash it off in the evening (it lasted for hours on me!). I actually missed the masculinity in my last attempts, which I simply like or "demand" in fragrances.
"Oud Wood" by Tom Ford might be another attempt, but unfortunately, I'm done here.
Bottle sold.

Perfect
We had a conference. A colleague entered the room and I could smell him from 3 meters away, without being hit in the face. During the lunch break, I asked him and he told me an interesting story about how he got the fragrance through three connections.
I must admit that until a year ago, I hadn't heard anything about the fragrance, but I went straight to Breuninger in Düsseldorf and asked for it. Unfortunately, the lady sold me Molecules 01, which you can't smell. Yes, yes, I know, fine noses can detect it, but for me, there was nothing. Luckily, I was able to exchange it the next day and got this one, the "right" one.
When I apply it, it's like a shower, like a wellness visit and a great breakfast. It instantly lifts my mood; it naturally smells of ISO E but also a lot of wood, smoky and yet "cuddly," with light melodic undertones. It's hard to describe. But I would love a laundry detergent with that scent.
I want to have it all the time. I even bought the 30 ml bottle for traveling.

Glass Table
I always think of a glass table, a minimalist apartment, and a lot of water with this scent.
Citrus fruits, sulfur, and sand. And all of it very subtle, inconspicuous like a spy.
I don't particularly like it; I find it too treacherous for a perfume. Strange choice of words, but simply not covering, not too present, and not representative. Hard to explain.
Sure, for a gentleman it would certainly be great with a suit, but for me, unfortunately, not important, like almost all Armani fragrances.
