The nose was pleased and the greedy heart suffered / Back to the Future
With this review, I will certainly make myself somewhat unpopular. First of all: I am evaluating the scent based on the state of 2022 (my purchase date) to provide a fair assessment. With today's perspective, the scent would score somewhat lower.

I can still vividly remember my purchase. A newcomer that I was very hyped about at the time. The price of €240 was dancing on my pain threshold and made me buy the perfume.

When the package arrived, I was quite astonished. The perfume came in a beautiful orange box that opens up. Inside this box, the scent was packaged again in a white funnel-shaped container. I really liked the packaging back then. The bottle has a nice shape, and the option to engrave it for free was just amazing (shoutout to Dieter Bohlen). The magnetic closure (cap) is of very good quality.

After the tears of joy from the packaging slowly dried up, I could eagerly press the sprayer. What awaits me? Is Imagination really that intense? Can LV create scents? These are just some of the questions that shot through my mind.

My nostril went on a quest and discovered fragrance notes that I had hardly known until then. In the foreground, you can definitely smell the Ambroxan. Additionally, there are wonderful tea notes that give the perfume a greenish direction. The scent is also very fresh, aquatic, and citrusy at the beginning. You can immediately tell that Imagination is something special. After a longer time, the tea notes develop particularly well. The scent drifts into a slightly milder direction. You could almost drink the tea now; just missing the cup... Unfortunately, I can't perceive any cinnamon at all. The longevity from my batch back then is simply impressive for a freshie. The scent is also very enveloping. Unfortunately, I often receive feedback that the scent causes headaches. It's probably not advisable to wear this in the office, as the power is indeed too intense.

I can't quite understand the current hype. I find the price increase to €300 really cheeky. Please don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't buy this scent anymore for the following reasons.

- Price increase
- In my opinion, it has been overhyped; the scent is becoming too mainstream.
- For this price, there are significantly more interesting brands

Suitable: Best in summer
Fun fact: Can you pronounce the scent correctly? I had difficulties with the brand Gurlain back then. "Imaginaaaaatioooo" is definitely much harder for me.

Conclusion: If I had a time machine and could travel back to 2022, I would probably buy the scent again. Now I need to finish it and keep the Imagination in good memory.

The Sparkling Ahoibrause Body Cream
Roja has become one of my absolute favorite brands, and that's why I decided to do a blind buy in winter. Yes, I know, Oceania is a typical scent for the warmer season, and I am already looking forward to summer again. A little anticipation never hurts.

The packaging, bottle, and presentation are always a highlight with Roja fragrances. A beautiful package with water waves immediately makes me want to visit a surf club - maybe in the next life. The dark blue Swarovski crystals on the cap shine and shimmer. At first, I was a bit skeptical since the signature on the cap was missing, but that seems to be standard now. Additionally, two crystals fell off the cap during delivery - but that has been repaired, and there was a discount from the retailer, so all is well. I like the bottle; it's not too flashy but also not too spectacular. Nice shape, cool metal plaque.

Excited like a little child on Christmas Eve, I press the sprayer and was initially shocked by the scent. At first, I perceived a very creamy note in the foreground, somewhat like a Nivea cream. This note is very active and intense for me right at the beginning.
After a few seconds, the magic begins in my nostrils. It starts to tingle. It tingles like a fizzy lemonade or better said like an Ahoi-Brause that you just inhaled through your nose (don't ask, as a child you try interesting things and learn from your mistakes). The scent really tingles quite intensely, almost like a fizzy refreshing drink with a lot of soda water. You can perceive the citrus notes. Lemon, bergamot, and lime are immediately recognizable. Additionally, I can already hear the seagulls in my ear as I continue to sniff. Aquatic notes are noticeable. The scent shows its fresh components, especially at the beginning. It smells like pure summer - you lie by the sea, hear the water and the waves crashing, smell the sunscreen, and with a bit of luck, you've applied it properly and don't have a sunburn. After a longer time, the cream note fades, and I can perceive fresh herbs. The fruitiness remains. I can perceive the scent on myself for 6 hours. For an aquatic-fresh fragrance, that’s an acceptable longevity.
The price-performance ratio is fine for me if you get a good discount.
Folks, summer is coming soon, but first, Santa Claus is coming!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry
How should I best begin?
4711 Cologne is a classic that must not be missing from any perfume collection. The price is great, but we won't become friends.

The scent starts with a freshness that smells both soapy and sweet. You can definitely smell the lemon and bergamot in the foreground. The lavender wants to join the party and only appears after the second drink. After about 10 minutes, the freshness disappears and an unpleasant sweetness takes the forefront for me. Unfortunately, the cologne doesn't last long on my skin, and I can't perceive any scent notes after about 20 minutes.
Personally, I use it as an aftershave.

The scent smells too old-fashioned to me, but I must emphasize that this is not a bad thing. It's just my personal feeling. There are also very good old-fashioned perfumes like Fahrenheit, which I love. However, I can hunt my relatives with this perfume. Everyone has different noses :-D!

My opinion was also confirmed by friends and acquaintances when they asked me what smelled so strange. My aunt's first reaction was: Did you take the cologne from Grandma's cupboard?
On one hand, it's cool that the cologne has a distinctive characteristic and stays in people's minds! Hats off, that's quite an achievement!

Be that as it may. It's not for me, but there are definitely much worse perfumes that smell really bad, and this cologne does not!

Actually, I don't like bees...
However, I have to make an exception here. Please produce more honey!!!!
After I thought in my last review that there could be no improvement, I must now correct myself. The best-rated fragrance from my collection is now Naxos.
The cool cherry refreshment from Guerlain (see my last review) has now slipped to second place.

I'll start with the packaging. The perfume comes in a sealed green-white-red box with a golden inscription "Xerjoff" in the middle. Wonderful! Italian flair! Inside this packaging is a beautiful purple-brown leather box. In this box, under the velvet fabric/velvet paper, lies the covered Naxos. Wow! I have never experienced anything like this before; I am speechless. Beautiful! The bottle is also very elegant. I'll save the oxygen, or rather the words (see picture above).

When the velvet cover was lifted and the sprayer was activated, a sweet yet simultaneously fresh citrus note greeted me. I have rarely experienced something like this. The sweet honey note, however, wins the dodgeball duel in gym class, as the cinnamon, vanilla, and tonka bean team up to quickly take down the team "the fresh ones," founded by lemon and bergamot. How unfair, 2 vs 4!
As the clock ticks on, the sweet notes increase and become more intense. At this point, "the fresh ones" have probably left the gym. They must be sore losers. The lavender probably had a yellow glow or didn't feel like sports and skipped.

The longevity is superb. On my skin, Naxos lasts at least 12-14 hours. It is a real beast!
In my opinion, you can definitely wear Naxos in the summer evenings. In winter, you can't go wrong with it!
I have already received many compliments and will end this review with a 10/10.

Germany searches for the cool super cherry
First of all: It is actually the highest-rated fragrance of mine.
I don't even know where to start.
It was a cold day, I was bored, and I was looking for new fragrances. I quickly noticed the brand Guerlain. In fact, I had never heard of the brand before. By the way: I still can't pronounce it.
I quickly looked for reviews. The positive reviews for this brand stood out to me, and I decided to go for a blind buy (No Risk, No Fun). Just under 4 days later, the fragrance was in front of me. The packaging was very simple, the bottle is plain. I really like that. Sometimes less is more. In any case, I pressed the sprayer and was very curious about what I would experience. A very delicious sour cherry note immediately greeted me. It smelled so good that only a straw was missing. The sour cherry note is very sweet and fruity, but it also has a very cooling effect? I imagine a large glass of cherry juice with ice cubes. I find it very interesting that this fragrance doesn't list a cherry note. Following the delicious, cool cherry note is a very pleasant, non-pungent leather scent. This unfolds only slightly and definitely doesn't take center stage. The light sweetness is also very well rounded off by the tonka bean or the almond. Unfortunately, I don't perceive the rose. The perfume also develops slight woody notes after a while. The sweetness diminishes a bit over time.
So far, for me, my absolute favorite fragrance.
The scent spreads well, you are noticed, and the longevity on my skin is also very lasting. For the price-performance ratio, the perfume gets an 11/10.
I will soon check out more Guerlain fragrances and take a language course.
