A Mature Seductress with "Spice"
A truly elegant fragrance that carries everything from initially fruity (but rather dry and spicy than sweet) to floral/powdery.

The mandarin in the top note lightens the start a bit and imparts a gently spicy lightness that immediately opens up strongly into the dominant notes of jasmine, ...Iris soothes it, and a hint of light peach gives the rather commanding lady a touch of softness.

The base is slightly smoky/creamy ...and somewhat cozy, presenting a very multifaceted fragrance that consistently maintains its character.

It is by no means a scent for me, and I only see it suitable for those of middle age and above.

As the bottle and advertising suggest, this is a fragrance for a confident, elegant woman, firmly established in life. She has had her fun, knows what she wants, has experienced what she desired, and can now devote herself to what she has set out to do. A mature seductress with "spice"....

Like John the Gardener from the Housewives
In general, I find that Aigner fragrances, especially those for men, require a certain maturity; I would significantly lower that expectation here.

The design and campaign are new, clear, and younger. All in all, very fresh and modern, yet clearly structured. I find the bottle and packaging very understated and discreet; it doesn't appeal to the masses I know, but it provides a pleasant surprise.

If one reads the fragrance as aquatic-synthetic, I usually wouldn't even consider smelling it due to the aquatic notes... but luckily I did :)

Citrus notes would typically make the top note seem too fresh, but here a mint note that I have come to love has immediately won my heart; it adds a certain bite and, combined with the maritime notes, gives a more salty than fresh opening.

The spices, however, make it an AHAAAAA fragrance for me at a lively tempo.

I never would have thought of them in perfumes before, but especially in men's fragrances, there is a beautiful "sharpness" that highlights masculinity in an almost erotic way, which I had previously only attributed to musk.

This naturally rounds out the base and, in combination with cashmeran, shines absolutely masculine; the exotic woods and amber add depth here and make AIGNER N°1 Platinum a confident fragrance that I see fitting for the whole year in middle age, inviting me to dream. It truly is the scent that makes me think of a well-trained man, whose strong shoulder makes me feel protected... someone who is self-assured and fully engaged in life. Really a well-groomed, clean scent without being too "clean," with a certain eroticism. A fantastic fragrance.

Smoky Prince of Darkness
I imagined a scent based on its appearance and notes, and for this reason, I was very curious about Dark Night. The beautiful black/red bottle in an ombre look is particularly appealing with its rich red color.
But let's get to the fragrance; I envisioned it as heavy and dark, and that's exactly what I received :)
I know plum especially from women's fragrances, but I really like it here in combination with apple (which I usually tend to avoid) very much, as it offers a gentle introduction to a very intense scent progression. The woods and very intense patchouli envelop the comparatively gentle yet still assertive fruity notes like a dark fog... gloomy and smoky, very dry. In the base, amber provides the soft note that rounds off the strong leather and the prominent musk, making the very masculine, smoky/intense scent full of masculinity perfect. A truly beautiful scent progression that builds up slowly and generally produces a really intense, smoky fragrance that, in my opinion, resonates best with those in middle age and is excellent for autumn/winter. In spring/summer, I find it a bit too dark, but right now it is simply perfect.

Oriental meets Tropicana
Marbert...who among you has Marbert clearly in mind? Exactly! ...me neither.
I've probably heard/read about Marbert here and there...but never thought WOW I MUST HAVE IT. I felt differently about WomanPure...I admit it was definitely not the name :)
While studying the new fragrances, I noticed the simple yet appealing design which prompted me to learn more. I also had oriental, Tiaré flower, and jasmine firmly in my memory. My interest was thus more than just piqued.
Finally holding the fragrance, I found the beautifully crafted tin can very appealing, something different from a plain cardboard box, so simple and unpretentious yet so convincing. I also really like the simple glass bottle in white, it feels nice in the hand, everything harmonizes beautifully here...and the scent?
The scent is not typically oriental nor one of those lighter pure fragrances that I find less appealing...which often seem unremarkable or uninteresting to me.
However, we also don't have a "typical" oriental that fights for attention in a heavy-handed way. Here, a truly healthy middle ground has been found, which may not be anything new, but is beautifully interpreted.
The lovely light exotic top notes soften the opening gently with a slight vacation feeling and provide a magical introduction to the heavier notes...they are consistently present even if only subtly in the further development. The strong jasmine has a gentle companion in the mild orange blossom even in the heart note, but the base is typically stronger for the oriental direction, yet remains tropical thanks to tuberose and shows a sweet creamy character complemented by warm vanilla...WOW. Paired with very good longevity, my first contact with Marbert is grandiose and I am getting to know a timeless and completely ageless eau de toilette that I would gladly gift blindly, confident it would be well received everywhere.

Puts Everything in the Right Light
Here, as with many Twin scents, the men's fragrance appeals to me much more from the start. It opens pleasantly minty (I've really discovered mint for myself) and is gently tickled by cardamom, very fine. The flowers come in lightly citrusy, violets for me are new in the men's area, but really wonderfully showcased, DELIGHTFUL. The scent progression, like with the women's version, quickly drops the pants, which I really like because here we quickly know what we are getting and don't buy a pig in a poke :) Sweetly earthy, with a bit of woodiness, Change Man lays the facts on the table, timeless and incredibly attractive, in my opinion. A little more sillage and we have a perfect seducer here. I AM THRILLED!
