I wrote this off as weird mentholated yuzu at first, and put it away as not my thing (not a fan of fruity). But then, a couple months later, I picked up the tester and got peppery musk. Really lovely JHAG style musk, that smelled like fresh pink-colored face cream. Not strong enough to be identified as rose in the notes, but enough to feel like a light uplifting floral to the swoony warm musk. It comes across more like two facets of a coin than sequential top-heart-base notes: sometimes I get a tart, fruity ginger, sometimes I get a warm skin-scent musk. I love it for the musk, and I can't stop reaching for it.
This is your-skin-but-better in a way that reminds me of my early teens: washing my face with just dove soap, then putting on just a dab of pink Johnson&johnson lotion (in the 90s), and it was all fresh and good.
