Not convinced
At first, it smells fresh, quite citrusy, sweet, and somewhat piercing. I can clearly perceive the mandarin peel, the chocolate only slightly lingers in the background, and the pear is nowhere to be found. Soon, a barely identifiable floral note emerges. I think I can smell the rose, but not much else. I don't find Diamond Greedy gourmand, not even in the top notes. However, it definitely smells synthetic.
I received a sample of the fragrance as a freebie at a souk, so I approached it without any expectations. Without really knowing what I was smelling or what price range it belonged to, my first thought was: Smells like at DM in the fragrance department (translation = boring and cheap). Even after longer contemplation and a look at the fragrance notes, I can't shake this impression: Diamond Greedy indeed feels like one of the 100 drugstore fragrances that generally fall into this fresh-floral category.
Of course, it can't be completely compared to those. The longevity is too good for that: I could still smell Diamond Greedy after 6-7 hours. Even after a shower, it was still faintly detectable.
But is that worth the price? From my perspective, no. I am not convinced.
