At first spray, you might almost think you are smelling a tangy cherry note that immediately fills the room. But the highlight of this perfume is that it does not actually contain any cherry notes. Rather, this impression is created by the sophisticated blend of bitter almond notes, sweet vanilla and a prized, fruity-spicy component.

Never say never
Unfortunately, I could never make friends with the Boss Bottled DNA...
I held every bottle I saw under my flask and none of them met my taste or took on a twist that made me decide against buying them again. So I never thought that (spoiler) one would knock my socks off after all.
When I found out that another new Boss Bottled had been released, I couldn't resist.
And wow was it worth it!
The opening surprised me straight away. It is an intense, spicy start that immediately captivated me. The leather and incense notes are present right from the start. Compared to the previous Boss Bottled fragrances, this one feels much more complex and masculine.
As soon as the top note settles, a balsamic warmth unfolds, which for me is wonderfully supported by the myrrh. The spice slowly fades and gives way to a warm, almost honey-like sweetness that comes from the davana. For me, davana is also the big player in the pyramid! It is precisely this that gives this fragrance its wonderful depth. It is not intrusive, but blends perfectly into the overall very masculine composition.
This fragrance definitely stands out from the crowd. It almost feels like a niche fragrance. It is more intense, more complex and an absolute surprise for me.
