Quite good and pleasant, but...
unisex? Really now? So sweet at first that it almost overwhelms me in this sea of sugar, but after a few minutes it becomes softer and fades into a clean, well-behaved little water that smells of freshly washed laundry.
Reminds me very much of a soap my grandma used to have, I think it was called Fa. It was so beautiful blue-green and curved, like a wave, I'll have to look it up right away to see if it's still around.
The best and neutral test station is the friend who is always ordered to sniff and he turns up his nose... once again too soapy and despite the perfect combination of all ingredients, it unfortunately only remains perfect in theory. Unfortunately not for me in practice, but definitely recommendable if you like it slightly sweet, soapy, clean and freshly washed.

The perfect fragrance
"Why do you collect perfumes?" I've been asked a few times. Good question... because I can't decide between all the great and interesting fragrances, don't want to commit myself or - as in almost all areas of my life - am constantly looking for variety... ;-)
One reason is probably the most decisive: The search for the perfect fragrance. You read reviews, advertisements, perfume descriptions, ingredients and behind so many perfumes you think "THIS could be it, I haven't tried it yet... I MUST have it!"
Blind purchases are often followed by surprises that don't match your expectations at all. As an experienced perfumer, you distance yourself from blind purchases and collect samples, go to countless perfumeries to test them, annoy your partner at every airport and are happy about every little extra.
And it was precisely the latter that led me to Perle Rare Gold: THIS is it!
Slightly sweet, but by no means too sweet, powdery, unobtrusively floral, the tart and spicy notes perfectly underline the flowers and I just want to sink into this fragrance.
I think I would have liked this fragrance as a teenager too, I can imagine it on any woman of any age and I don't want to assign it to any season.
For me, it can be worn anytime and anywhere, lasts for many hours and compliments from young and old as well as men and women are pre-programmed.

What must skin and DNA be like, ...
... that Mango Manga smells good on it? There are perhaps people who give the fragrance a chance, really spray it on after the first sniff on the test strip and then don't immediately run to the nearest wet spot to rub it off.
I'm not one of them, after the first sniff on the strip I just looked at the nice Thai woman questioningly and got out an uncomprehending "Do you know this fragrance???". She smiled and said "Yes, of course, it's good", which left me completely bewildered. Is she serious or is it a necessary sales tactic? Incomprehensible... how can anyone seriously think this mixture of cleaning agent, nail polish remover and toilet stone with lemon extract is good?
Nevertheless, I must add that the fragrance on the strip developed as very pleasant after 2 hours, definitely not comparable to the first impression. Fruity, oriental and a bit oud-heavy, so quite wearable, you obviously have to wait very patiently for MM to show its true colors. Could definitely appeal to men too.

Lightweight walker
"Ah, a lily of the valley scent..." was the first thing I thought when I tested it. But there is no lily of the valley in it at all and that was only the prelude. Then it tipped over to freesia and jasmine, and I just couldn't sniff out the rest.
And this is supposed to be a unisex fragrance? I can never imagine it on a man, so sweet, sweet and not at all masculine. It would be the first fragrance that could be shared by grandchildren, dad, mom, grandma and grandpa, although I think it would suit the little girl and grandma best.
The sillage and longevity are average to barely there, apart from the first two hours.
All in all, a very pleasant all-rounder for small appearances in the office or for shopping. I also like to use it as a room fragrance, it has a spring-like feel and creates a great indoor climate. However, if you use it like this, you should have bought the bottle cheaply at a flea market, as I did, otherwise it would be a somewhat expensive room spray.
