I love Brosse
A few words about Brosse, with whom I have fallen in love:

Brosse begins smoky and resinous, accompanied by a slightly metallic note. After a few minutes, the smoke subsides and the fragrance becomes softer and warmer. The metallic note continues gently. Here and there I can smell a hint of cinnamon. Vanilla is clearly perceptible throughout, complemented by a few other spicy notes that I can't quite make out. When I smell Brosse, I imagine a roaring open fire over old oak floorboards while sitting in an armchair drinking a glass of whisky. The whole thing is accompanied by woody notes reminiscent of old wooden floorboards. A few times I was also reminded of baque, but with an added smokiness. The fragrance later becomes a little sweeter and occasionally has a slightly sticky aura. I also notice metallic nuances in the base from time to time, which makes the whole thing really exciting, with a simultaneously warm, resinous and sweet fragrance. I tested a sample of Brosse a few months ago, but I didn't like it that much. Now that I'm wearing Brosse again after a long time and have the fragrance in a bottle, I like it much better, if not extremely well. I'm not entirely sure if this is the batch that Josh Lobb didn't want to sell. Brosse is pretty good for that and I'm surprised he gave the fragrance out for free (if this really is the corresponding batch).

Fragrance notes have never been officially released for the fragrance, but Josh Lobb has mentioned fragrance notes (presumably in a private email correspondence), which I provide here (information without guarantee, of course):

These are the only notes/ingredients that he shared:
hydrocarboresin, dynamone, ambrain, ambranum, ambrarome, rum CO2, red mandarin, benzoin, spices, vanilla, aged coffee resin, and other undisclosed ingredients

Freely translated:
Hydrocarboresine, Dynamone, Ambrein, Ambranum, Ambrarome, Rum-CO2, red mandarin, benzoin, spices, vanilla, aged coffee resin, and other undisclosed ingredients.

Brosse is great to wear in cold weather and probably fits extremely well into the winter/Christmas season as it creates a warming aura around you.
Probably one of the best slumberhouses I've been able to test.

Thanks for reading :-)
