Fresh and floral sea breeze
I'm very surprised that this beautiful summer fragrance isn't talked about much more. Unfortunately, there is no official fragrance pyramid anywhere and since I'm not that good at smelling out fragrances yet, take it with a grain of salt what I'm describing here, but... wow, this is a great aquatic-fresh fragrance!

The top note is sparkling, slightly sweet and subtly spicy. I definitely suspect a mixture of sweet lemons and bergamot here. The spice that my nose perceives smells of rosemary and sage, possibly also a subtle hint of lavender.

The fragrance is incredibly maritime. I suspect a salty note here - but not pungent or sour - paired with seaweed and possibly calone. It's really incredibly aquatic - which also makes it slightly synthetic, but in no way obstreperous or disturbing for me.

The fragrance definitely has something floral about it, but unfortunately I can't smell exactly which flowers. But something floral definitely comes through strongly, especially in the heart note.

In the base note, I can clearly smell vetiver, light woods and musk. Something also gives the fragrance a nice depth. Possibly amber? You can smell it in the second half in particular. This may also explain the incredible longevity of almost 6 hours, which is quite remarkable for an aquatic, especially in this price category.

For me, the fragrance can also be clearly classified as "unisex". It doesn't smell clearly masculine to me, probably due to the slightly floral note and the softness it has as a result. Women can definitely wear it in exactly the same way.

And I also have to say a word about the bottle: the spray head actually has a pressurized atomizer! That really surprised me the most, because even in this price category you usually find spray heads that unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. Not this one! Thanks to the pressurized atomizer, the spray mist is really fine and spreads beautifully!

I'm really blown away. So if you're looking for an aquatic fragrance for the summer, this is the one for you. If you can still get it somewhere, go for it!

Salty-sweet coconut
I'm a little ambivalent about this fragrance. As with many other Lattafa fragrances, I don't really like the top note. The pepper is simply far too dominant here again.

However, once the pepper has faded a little, this is a really nice summer fragrance that puts you in a vacation mood.

In the heart note, the salt note duels a little with the coconut on my skin and neither of them really knows which is the star of the show and which is more in the background, but in the drydown - after about an hour for me - it becomes a creamy, slightly powdery-sweet coconut-heavy fragrance.

I think it's beautiful! Just right for the summer.

Resinous, powdery floral greetings
I never thought I would discover elemi resin, but the combination with the sparkling bergamot, the fresh aldehydes and the beautifully powdery-floral iris in this fragrance makes me melt away!

The fragrance opens with a very refreshing citrusy note - due to the bergamot and mandarin - but then turns slightly peppery-green relatively quickly with a tart and slightly dry woody/forest note (probably the elemi resin, I assume). In the drydown - thanks to the iris, musk, sandalwood and amber - it becomes a wonderfully cuddly-soft, feel-good fragrance.

I was sent the perfume through the forum in a surprise box from a wonderful perfumer and it has stayed with me ever since. I think it's such a shame that it seems to have been discontinued. It's always the unnoticed and totally underrated gems that unfortunately disappear from the scene far too quickly.

Woody blood orange?
I really wanted to like the fragrance because I found the bottle interesting and the blood orange in the top note appealing, but unfortunately we don't warm up to each other. Disappointingly, I can't smell anything floral, sweet, fresh or creamy here.

The blood orange comes through very nicely in the top note, but is completely drowned out by the amber, musk and cedarwood on my skin. I can't smell any star jasmine or peony, let alone vanilla. Nada, niente, zilch, zero. For me, this is also not a feminine fragrance - in my opinion, it is absolutely unisex, if not rather masculine

Fragrance experiences like this always encourage me not to buy fragrances blindly, because I would have been bitterly disappointed with this one if I hadn't bought a bottle first.

I just don't like the fragrance. Unfortunately no, unfortunately not at all. What a shame!

Signature for the summer
The coconut comes here on a breeze of wonderfully light salty sea air, while the tonka bean and peony contribute a pleasant warmth and sweetness - which is not heavy or sticky - and the sandalwood gives the whole thing a slightly woody finish. The fragrance is a really light, yet strongly perceptible beach scent that is probably most associated with summer, sun, sea, sand and a piña colada in your hand.

It reminds me of this typical Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen fragrance, but much more nuanced, mature, rounded and long-lasting. The longevity is really incredibly good for a summer fragrance. Now, in the somewhat colder season, it easily lasts 8 hours on me, at least so that I can still smell it on my skin. I can still smell it on a test strip even after 3 days!

I think it's a real shame that the (in my opinion) good fragrances from Victoria's Secret always seem to be the very limited ones. I've been desperately looking for an alternative for this fragrance for the last few weeks, but haven't found anything of equal quality yet. But maybe it will come back at some point - just like my much-loved "Fearless (Eau de Parfum) | Victoria's Secret". Only this time, please, without ruining the formulation.
