Resinous Powdery Floral Greetings
I never thought I would ever discover elemiharz for myself, but the combination of the zesty bergamot, fresh aldehydes, and the beautifully powdery-floral iris in this fragrance makes me melt away!
The scent opens with a very refreshing citrus note - from the bergamot and mandarin - but then relatively quickly becomes slightly peppery-green with a bitter and slightly dry wood/forest note (probably the elemiharz, I assume). In the drydown, it transforms into a wonderfully cozy soft scent due to the iris, musk, sandalwood, and amber.
I received the perfume through the forum, in a surprise box from a wonderful perfumer, and it has simply captivated me ever since. I find it incredibly sad that it seems to have been discontinued. It’s always the overlooked and totally underestimated gems that unfortunately disappear from the scene far too quickly.
