This fragrance captivated me right from the first spray. I thought to myself, what a great scent. The fragrance is very pleasant. Now, opinions about this scent are extremely divided. Either you love it or you hate it. I like the slightly woody sweet note that the bottle gives off. Now, that's all well and good; there are many fragrances that can do that and smell more pleasant. However, what is an incredible plus for this scent is that it lasts forever and projects strongly. I don't spray the fragrance too often, but when I have the honor of spraying it, the whole house smells of it when I wake up after a night of partying. In my opinion, this scent is not a sugary mess that screams "I'm here," but rather a distinctive, very strong, woody, warm fragrance note that perfectly matches my character. Perfect for partying!

Performance is okay. For a sweet scent, it leaves a bit to be desired. What I really like about the fragrance is the juniper berry; it fits very well with the composition and creates an invigorating feeling. It is enveloped by a calm note of rum. The cistus might break the neck of some men; it gives the whole thing a rather feminine touch! I like it, as I am not an absolutely masculine guy who also wears very few strongly masculine fragrances. The reactions from the female side were extremely positive; the worst I heard was once: "Smells like some women's fragrance!" But I could live with that. It is used at parties. Please wear it in colder seasons! The sweetness becomes very brutal in warm weather, while cold makes it an absolutely delicious perfume (as the scent is neutralized). Otherwise, I can say: If a guy is not too shy to smell a bit like a woman, he can definitely get this perfume; I like it. The alpha male, however, should rather reach for fragrances like those from Hugo Boss, for example.

Very powerful composition, definitely delivers on performance. However, one should not overdo it with the scent. I noticed that with this perfume, a maximum of 6 sprays is sufficient; I had the urge to apply more (12), as the sillage is not outstanding (still good). The result was that the scent became unpleasant and hardly noticeable, probably a natural defense reaction of the nose.
Now let's talk about the scent itself. My young nose could perceive a pleasantly smoky woody coffee scent after the first spray. I really like it a lot. Designer perfumes may not have much character and are not very creative, which is more or less the case with this perfume as well, but this smoky note is absolutely to my taste! (when applied lightly). I enjoy wearing it at parties. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, the reactions were not the best (still okay), but I absolutely like it.

The performance of the perfume is great, I haven't worn it out yet, but two sprays are enough and you have a creamy, soft scent in your nose for several hours. In my opinion, the vanilla becomes very dominant after an hour; before that, I perceive the leather and the mandarin. The longevity is enormous; after a good evening, when I came home at 6 AM, I discovered the package with the fragrance on my desk and, of course, had to try it immediately. Disappointed by the bitter top note, I lay down in bed and was slightly disappointed. (My nose wasn't quite fit at that moment). Waking up in the morning, I had this pleasant creamy scent in my nose that I couldn't quite describe. Definitely vanillic, this slight mandarin note runs like a red thread through all the notes (just very subtly). Then I thought for a moment and remembered that I had tested the perfume yesterday. I then sprayed a spritz on my neck and it became clear to me that it was Valentino Uomo Intense. A great scent that I could still perceive the next morning. The confident man, wearing a leather jacket or denim shirt, could wear this fragrance.

I ordered this fragrance because the reviews and scent pyramid were exceptionally good.
When I first sprayed the fragrance, feelings of peace, sweetness, beauty, and simplicity arose. The scent is truly very pleasant. The bottle is beautiful, an absolute feast for the eyes, wonderfully reflecting the feelings that come up with the fragrance.
However, what completely breaks the experience is the performance of the fragrance. Perhaps it's because it's somewhat cold outside and the fragrance notes cannot unfold well. I applied a total of 20+ sprays and still, most people didn't notice that I was wearing a perfume.
