"You can't get on a plane with this bottle!"
It was winter 2020. I had bought the Spicebomb Extreme blindly, because I have seen some YouTube videos about it and was really curious whether the fragrance is as good as was said. And indeed, I was very positively impressed from the first spray.
Over Christmas, I wanted to visit family members abroad, and thought to take the Spicebomb with me, since this is yes the PERFECT winter fragrance. I arrive at Stuttgart airport and unpacked my bag at security. Since I only had a purse and no checked baggage, I had to put my scents in a small plastic bag. The nice lady looks at the bottle and says to me "What is this? You can't get on the plane with this bottle! That's a grenade!" I thought to myself at that moment, yes, the scent is really a grenade, but why am I not allowed to take this scent with me??! She hadn't said anything about the other bottles. I, completely confused, ask the lady "This is a perfume and not a grenade, why can't I take it with me?" Well, long story short. Since I might "scare" the other flight passengers, I had to lock the fragrance in some locker in the cold for over a week.
I could hardly wait to get back to wear the fragrance again.
The durability and sillage of this perfume are simply impressive. Even after hours, the fragrance is still present, and its character continues to evolve. The opening is sharp and powerful, with a pinch of pepper and cinnamon, followed by a warm, addictive hint of vanilla and tobacco.
