I Smelled Like a Lady
What a fragrance.
Today, the package with this unusual scent finally arrived at my place. Full of anticipation and curiosity, I opened the package and there lay this, in my opinion, beautiful and noble bottle. My hands were almost trembling; I absolutely wanted to spray it. I have never smelled the fragrances of Annick Goutal before; unfortunately, such scents are not available where I live. Le Muguet is therefore my first encounter with the fragrances of Madame Goutal.
So here we go, the first spray. At first, I thought, "No, this is not for me. Not my taste at all." It smelled predominantly of lily of the valley and quite strong. After a few minutes, it became a bit woodier and the scent warmer. I've never smelled anything quite like it. After about ten minutes, the red berries joined in, and it became a little fruitier. I actually like this combination quite a bit.
I sprayed one on the back of my neck and one on my wrist. Then I went for a walk, and every time the wind blew, I could really smell a light but distinctly noticeable scent breeze. Over time, the fragrance becomes more beautiful and elegant. I imagine this is how the lovely, elegant ladies must have smelled in the past.
The scent is delicate, fresh, clean, elegant. I have been searching for a fragrance like this for a long time. The longevity is not bad either, around 6-7 hours. Then the scent becomes weaker, but you can still smell it clearly. So, my first encounter with the fragrances of Annick Goutal was a complete success, and I am already quite curious about which of her fragrances I will get to smell next.

A Fragrance to Feel Good
For a long time, I thought about which fragrance I would like to dedicate my first comment to. There are plenty of beautiful scents that I like, but none have convinced me for as long as "Stella." You know how it is, a new fragrance is worn every day and eventually it just gets on your nerves. You simply get tired of it. With "Stella," that's not the case. The scent is simply harmonious and fits every season.
I have been on the lookout for a beautiful rose fragrance for a long time, but no matter which one I smelled, the right one was never there. Until I got my hands on "Stella."
The scent is unique for me; I have never experienced such a fragrance progression a second time. It starts off quite fruity for me, and shortly after, the rose joins in. But it's not a penetrating, exhausting rose.
No, this rose is so elegant and delicate. Like a beautiful rose garden after a summer rain.
After that, the fragrance becomes warmer and maintains this lovely blend of rose and amber for the next six hours. I can still perceive the scent in my hair the next morning. So, the longevity on my skin is excellent. Other fragrances I can no longer perceive on my skin after a short time. The scent smells elegant, clean, and the amber makes it warm on the skin.
Today, when it is so rainy and gray outside, I wear the fragrance and simply feel good.
No headaches, no shortness of breath (I have asthma, by the way). Fragrances are, of course, a matter of taste, but for me, "Stella" is the most beautiful rose fragrance ever.
