Dewy, Grassy Floral

I got this in a Sephora sampler and based on the little info card I was expecting more fruit, but this is more of a floral not unlike Daisy Eau de Toilette, probably due to the white florals and violet leaf, which I don't remember appearing in very many fragrances I've smelled. I like this but unfortunately I'm not a fan of the way the white florals come across in this. I wish I could pick up more of the pear note because I've discovered that's something I really enjoy.

Am I crazy? Not getting pear.

I have both a sample and a mini splash of this, as I'm an original My Way fangirl, I can admit.

This is lovely on, with the rhubarb giving it a tang as compared to the original opening. Still very sweet, very floral fruity but no pear to me. The drydown is very similar to the original, with added cedarlwood. It feels like they just shoehorned it in there, because it seems a bit unblended - I get super sweet fruitiness on my skin with some random wood that doesn't belong.

Longevity and sillage are decent (6+ hours). I guess I'm just confused as to why we needed this flanker. I don't feel it adds much of anything, and it's not changing anyone's mind if they hated My Way.

Sweet pear white florals

The latest flanker in the my way line where tuberose and orange blossom accords are the main actors in the play is now welcoming a new strong character: the candied or caramelized pear.

Unexpectedly good

This is my first perfume from “My Way” line. My Way Nectar smells to me very gently. It starts with real peach scent for me, despite the fact that there is no peach note listed. In combination with orange blossom and tuberose this perfume makes me sniff it again and again. After 3 hours the perfume changed to vanilla-woody scent which is also good. The longevity is good, 5-6 hours I can smell it. To be honest, I’m so impressed by this blind purchase! So happy!

Not my thing at all. I thought I liked it in store, but got a sample and changed my mind.
It’s very generic, heavy and floral. The pear is not sparkly and fresh but rather heavy to my nose unfortunately.
There’s one lighter note in this which I like, but it gets overshadowed by badly blended mix of sweet pear and white florals.
