But I'm torn about this fragrance. When I first sprayed it, I thought it was absolutely not for me, as something about it smelled "musty" and harsh. Paired with a sweetness that I found exciting. But if I wait 1-2 hours, the mustiness from the beginning has faded and I'm left with a vanilla-sweet scent that I absolutely love! If the strange scent from the beginning wasn't there, this would be my favorite perfume by far

I can't even describe what my problem with this fragrance actually is. Whenever I sniff the bottle or spray it on for a trial, I find the floral and refreshing scent so wonderful! Paired with the light sweetness, you'd think it was the perfect everyday fragrance. Not too intrusive or loud. But simply there. And yet. As soon as I apply it a few times, I'm literally fed up with it, it's probably just monotonous to me. For me, Blooming Bouquet is simply "nice", but nothing more.

Yes, I am addicted to this fragrance! I can't smell enough items of clothing that still have some of the fragrance left on them. The vanilla is beautifully dominant, but embedded in a harmonious composition in such a way that it is not too overpowering. On the contrary: everything is perfectly coordinated. When I put this fragrance on when I go out, I feel very special. Admittedly, I found that it becomes a little "musty" immediately after spraying it on, but what then unfolds is amazing.

I smelled the fragrance for the first time at a friend's house and was immediately blown away by this perfume! I'm a sucker for anything vanilla anyway and so was Olympea. In the finish, it reminded me a little of Si, probably because of the vanilla. Anyway, she left me the perfume at some point and the first few times I wore it, I was still fascinated by this deep sweetness. Until ... at some point it became too much for me. Somehow this fragrance suddenly bothered me and it no longer felt good on my nose. In the end, I don't think I'm really into this pure sweetness.

When I stopped at the Guerlain shelf again the other day, I couldn't get past it without giving it another sniff. And yes, it still blows me away! I find that there are a lot of perfumes that you've smelled somewhere before that don't stand out from the crowd. This one is very far from it, so unique with a lot of character. But not too intrusive and yet with an exploding fragrance experience. The violet makes all the difference.
