Should I or shouldn't I, that's the question here..
First of all, I love fresh, citrusy fragrances, even if I'm currently (possibly due to the weather) getting a "taste" for the smell of oud and rose (which would never have been possible before).

Long story short: I think the fragrance is great, it's citrusy, fresh and suits my taste, but it has to be said that it's not a fragrance that will knock your socks off if you look at the price-performance ratio. Yes, it smells good and especially in hot temperatures it's a great thing, but for the price range, I would definitely recommend other things. I'm not great at comparing fragrances, but I think it's very similar to "Light Blue pour Homme Forever | Dolce & Gabbana". Sure, the Perseus is better, not as synthetic and the ingredients are higher quality, you can smell that, but I think the DNA is very similar. For me, the fragrance hardly develops at all, so it is actually linear from the beginning to the end. Longevity is better than Greenley or Sedley (on my skin) in my opinion.

For the price... well, I'll have to think about it for a few more weeks, summer is still a while away ;)

I'm getting old..
Yes, we are all getting older, every second, minute, hour... I don't know what metamorphosis I have gone through or am still going through, but somehow I have the feeling that the very fragrances or scents that I used to detest are now gradually becoming more and more my favorites. I had a similar theme in my last review about oud. I don't know why, but when I used to think of rose fragrances, I always had the association of a very old, well-heeled lady putting on all her jewelry on a Sunday and overdosing on rose perfume in a coffee is her black forest cake, in other words, I loathed fragrances that smelled like rosé, nothing against old, well-heeled ladies, you guys are awesome! in case anyone reads this review, I've never met either of my grannies, so I'm free as far as a surrogate grandma is concerned ;)

Back to the fragrance, lately I've been extremely into scents with rosé. Since I'm relatively young in this scene and my first fragrance was MFK oud Satin mood, I wanted something not so sweet and I found it with this fragrance. For me it's an almost exclusively rose scent, strong at the beginning and in the middle something slightly smoky is added, but the rose is always in the first place for me, but a beautiful rose, not sweet or penetrating at any point. I also smell something that reminds me of the past, somehow a scent that I associate with a freshly sharpened pencil. For me it's more masculine, I can also see it on a woman, but I think (I'm male) that it's more suited to a man. Unfortunately, I can't smell the raspberry at any time.

Almost perfect
I don't know if it's the same with scents as it was with coffee and beer as a child, bitter and disgusting. I now look forward to my morning coffee before I go to bed
Morning coffee.

Until recently, I felt the same way about heavy, sweet, "gourmand", "oudy" fragrances - they were simply repulsive. Maybe it's because you get older, more mature, more experienced and more open, but in the past I wouldn't even have wanted anything that wasn't fresh, citrusy and sporty as a gift...
Long story short - an almost perfect fragrance for me. It starts breathtakingly, this fruity, full maracuja, which I like so wonderfully with a subtle hint of rose and saffron, simply art, with time the scent becomes more oudy and leathery and bang I'm the little boy sipping my dad's coffee and thinking to myself, is his father a psycho for drinking something like that? Joking aside, it's not that bad, but for me it would almost be the perfect fragrance if the fruity passion fruit had the lead for longer.

I was "fluenced" ..
I bought the fragrance as a blind buy because I had seen an Instagram reel shortly beforehand in which the actor Ncuti Gatwa reports that he receives a lot of compliments about his fragrance. It's not entirely clear from the video which one he has, as some of the bottles look very similar and the fox didn't mention which fragrance it was in the video either... after a lot of speculation in the comments, I went for the Perfect Oud because I liked the scents.

Before I get ripped apart, a- I'm new here and b- I'm not good at describing things, unfortunately... :D

I have to say that despite wearing quite a few fragrances, whether designer or niche, I have yet to find the perfect scent. The only "niche" fragrance that gave me a feeling of "this is it - the perfect fragrance" was Creed Aventus back then, it was that wow effect I had about 15-20 years ago as a teenager with Boss Bottled, Acqua di Gio, Le Male, back then. Since then, I've been searching (in vain) for my signature fragrance.

All I can say about the fragrance is that it comes very close to that "wow effect" feeling. Although I have an immigrant background and come from the Middle East, or rather my parents do, I don't really like sweet, heavy fragrances and fragrances with oud, if I may be a little stereotypical. I like fresh, sporty, citrusy fragrances, at least in most cases.

This fragrance is one of my favorites at the moment, it has something fresh, something soft, something creamy and the oud is very subtle for me, so perfect for people who want to make friends with oud. I work with patients in the medical field and the fragrance is in my office, so I can always add it from time to time, the fragrance has never been a sour note, but unfortunately never positive either, at least I haven't gotten any feedback, but to anticipate that I have never done that before, that should make me think :D.

I think the fragrance is great and would buy it again and again for a blind buy. Thanks for reading.
