I am someone who prefers to write short statements rather than long comments. Especially with a fragrance that divides the masses it is not easy to remain objective. And yet something moves me today, maybe it's the just received 10 years edition. And only because the fragrance differs from my previous batches. Not minimal or hardly at all but fundamental. I smelled my first Aventus in summer 2014. It was the best batch 13ZZ01 for many. What fascinated me back then was the opening with the pineapple. The only reason why I bought Aventus again and again. Because I don't really like the rest of the process. And just to go into the batch differences, I had about 15-20 different bottles and the biggest differences are mMn. only in the opening. The further course is almost always identical or so marginal that you hardly notice it. But now back to the 10 Years Edition. The opening is something completely different, because I definitely smell a strong honeydew melon which surprised me. Pineapple and bergamot are only discreetly visible in the background. The honeydew melon is also well perceptible right down to the base. Afterwards it slowly says goodbye. After about one hour the typical "green" phase of the Aventus slowly comes through, underlined by a soft leather touch. No leather like for example Tom Ford uses it, i.e. this dense. It is rather transparent, discreet, light and just floats along. The last hours of the fragrance become somehow monotonously wooden with a shallow sweetness in the background.
On me the scent lasts for about 6-7 hours now and is only perceptible on the skin. The water is a little bit lukewarm.

Conclusion: The "King" has fallen and that already a long time ago. The differences in quality of the individual batches do not make it better. One smells like this and the other one smells like this. One lasts 4 hours and the other 12 hours
It remains a sovereign fragrance, but in the meantime nothing more. For Aventus fans I recommend the edition, simply because it smells completely different than usual. I would not recommend it to all others, especially at this price. There are so many beautiful freshies, it doesn't have to be Aventus for just under 300€ if you buy it in a regional shop

This is exactly how I feel when I want to carry out the scent or not or not or not or but. The Tom is quite unique as they say nowadays. This fresh, slightly minty start is like a little wake-up call. Good morning I am here, we can start right now. Somehow the scent is opposite to the way I actually know it. It starts at 101% and then gradually becomes more comfortable. The woods, which are dry for me, give him a certain sovereignty, an Asus-radiance of a man who knows what he is and how he appears to the outside world. Self-assured, determined and consistent. And despite his serious appearance he becomes more comfortable in the evening and is looking forward to the family he has at home. And that's exactly how Tom ends, he becomes somewhat creamy and a flatterer.
The question I always ask myself is when do I take Tom out. Because many other wonderful fragrances also fit to the occasions to which you take it with you. As good as I find it, it's of little use to me. Tom yes Tom no Tom yes Tom no. The game keeps coming back. Nevertheless it is a fragrance that is not missing in my collection. I would like to see a better performance

I've rarely found a perfume name as inappropriate as this one. Black Phantom reflects a lot of things for me and stimulates some fantasies, how such a fragrance could smell if you only know the name. Kilian already has a name in his repertoire for this fragrance in my eyes: Straight To Heaven. Because exactly there I was promoted directly after the first 3 sprays. What did I feel wrapped in a cloud of fatt, soft cappuccino. Freshly made, a little cocoa powder on top of the foam. A small splash of the finest rum, covered with a dash of vanilla/caramel syrup. I perceive every smallest nuance and every smallest nuance must be exactly the same as it appears in this fragrance. The rum note is so subtle and soft, if I drank it I would estimate it to be at least 25 years old. I feel a sense of well-being like I've never felt perfumed before. So there it is, my personal scent for special evenings during the cooler season.
Black Phantom was a blind buy. However, the price was so outrageously "cheap" that I could not say no. And fortunately, I did.

The Sillage is quite good, perceptible by others but not intrusive. And you yourself get something out of it after a good 8 hours.

Since it is my first comment I hope that my less experienced nose is not taken too badly.
I can say less about the bottle as I only bought one bottle here in the souk.
Think everyone knows how the scent is praised by all our friend Jeremy. I was somehow curious, I was somehow looking for something suitable for the working day. So it was time to try it out. And well, what can I say? My nose knows the scent, doesn't it? Hmmmm. Yeah, I know him. Independence, in any case, looks different. Attributing him a clear scent of DNA, no chance.
My wife said joa, goes so to the fragrance. The world doesn't need it. And I can only go along with that. For me they took 50% Savauge edt, 30% La Nuit de l'homme edt and 20% Aqua di Gio, shaken a few times, bottled and that was it.
The first 10-15 minutes are slightly fresh, possibly a bit citric. Then the chemical club starts, so much so that I regretted having applied the scent. If I had to name a fragrance as a synonym for artificial and synthetic it would definitely be this one. The fragrance process can actually only be divided into 2 phases. The first 10-15 minutes citric and then comes the Grande Finale. Pretty poor for a scent that's been so touted by its makers. I had hoped that the fragrance would somehow develop, no unfortunately not. Maybe it was also more the hope that the fragrance would change as soon as possible.
There's only one thing I can say for the fragrance, and that's its durability. 10-12 hours. Performance is definitely in my game. Sillage is perfect for me. Not too strong that you can smell me for miles but not only close to your skin.
Well, the most important thing about scents is the scent and I give it a maximum of 2 of 10.
