True to its name
Evokes vivid pictures of a lazy afternoon on the open sea. Sunbathing on the deck beneath the summer sun, with a crisp ocean breeze keeping you cool. At the same time, it’s not a pure aldehydic, salty marine fragrance, and this unidentifiable note (def not iris, nor rose) is what makes this perfume so good. But would I like to smell like this? Prob no.

Below average performance, which is standard for me with this brand.

Photorealistic green fig & milky vanilla
Photorealistic fig leaf opening - sharp, fresh and green.

It's a bit much at first but as it settles on skin, green fig notes are balanced with the milky vanilla, with a touch of sweetness. I find myself reaching for it although it's not a perfect 10 for me. It's cozy and perfect for winter weather.

I can see it's being compared to DVN's Vanille Camouflage, I'm guessing because of the shared green notes but they couldn't be more different. DVN is a more complex galbanum vanilla, and truly a unique fragrance.

Longevity is better than average (+9h), with moderate high sillage, which is such great performance for the price.

Mid-range quality white flower bouquet
On paper, this fragrance is a perfect match for me. I love lush and sweet white florals, and I thought that the grapefruit might provide a nice freshness to it. Which it did, but the overall impression is just... okay? Which brings me to my point.

Having gone through the whole discovery set, I have to say that most of the Une Nuit Nomade perfumes have this sharp synthetic note that bothers me too much to be able to wear them. I am unsure whether this is due to ingredient quality or how they are blended, but they do not feel nice on my skin. For example, this perfume has a lot of similar notes as Nishane’s Tuberoza, but the latter just feels like a more high quality perfume.

Thick, sweet cinnamon dough
No idea why this perfume is called Sugar Leather as it's a linear and heavy cinnamon sugar smell. No leather whatsoever.

It’s okay but nothing to write home about, and I am not a fan of the synthetic note found in most of the perfumes from this brand.

It reminds me of Maasaï Mara due to the prominent cinnamon note, but I prefer the latter as it has a fruity plum note which goes perfectly with the cinnamon.

Potent, thick oud raspberry
Although this is technically a fruity perfume, oud and tobacco take an unexpected driving seat. Sweetness of the raspberry lingers in the background, overshadowed by the heaviness of the smoky oud. This is a perfume hard to pull off.

Smell is linear throughout the wear, with above average good projection and sillage.

I loved it on a tester strip but it’s causing nausea when sprayed on my skin. Very unique but also very weird, and definitely not a safe blind buy.
