Potent!
As I said in the title, this tuberose fragrance is not for the fain of heart. If you don't like the note don't even think about it, but if you do, oh my God! It is beautiful. It starts with a beautiful sweet orange combined with the freshness of the orange blossom. It is divine! This formulation is thick, like there is substance to it. It must be the amber combined with the vetiver in the base. The sandalwood keeps the formulation creamy and it goes hand in hand with the white flowers. Tuberose is my favorite note on my girlfriend. It is so beautiful and pure. I feel that Tuberoza is a more feminine fragrance but a man can pull it of if used in the right situation and environment. Longevity and projection are above average 12+ hours. The most potent tuberose I have ever smelt. Great value for the money!

White Flower Bouquet
To me, Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum seems like the epitome of a white floral fragrance. And although admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of white florals, Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum is one of the few of such blends that I can appreciate, but can hardly wear, as it leans in too feminine for me (as with most other white floral scents).

Nonetheless, what does it smell like? Well, immediately upon spraying, it is made clear what direction this fragrance takes. An intensive dose of a soapy, slightly citrusy orange blossom, mixed with the forever complex ylang ylang - floral, balsamic, sweet - creates an intoxicating opening very reminiscent of banana, which lingers throughout most of the wearing. If you try hard enough, you might also pick the mugwort hidden in the background with its touch of green, minty, aromatic accords.

Once at the heart, we receive the bouquet, composed of jasmine, gardenia, Mexican tuberose, and tagetes. The unmistakable floral sweetness of the jasmine, the Mexican Tuberose that accentuates the intense floral aura, the gardenia and its zesty floral scent with a hint of greenness, and the tagetes with a fresher floral burst - all blended in a intensely rich, creamy, fragrant odor that makes it so difficult to tell each apart.

As things gently dry down, some powdery muskiness pushes through, hardly strong enough to stick out in the white floral field that we find ourselves into. Then, a smooth, slightly sweet warmth with the faintest woody backbone shows up, along with a touch of balsamic softness. These are the sandalwood and amberwood notes at the base, which frankly, are quite subtle, being easily overpowered by the overall floral composition. As for vetiver, I barely get any; most notes after the opening are quite the challenge to pinpoint on their own. Nevertheless, if it wasn't clear by now, anyone with a white floral affair will most likely adore Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum. The quality is pretty great, with a smooth blending. However, a little linear. It's most definitely a feminine-leaning scent, but I think that men can also get away with it rather easily (not me, though).

And here's why: its soft projection and short-lived lastingness. On my skin, Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum turned from a lively, intensely fragrant bouquet of dozens of white flowers to a single stem with few petals left dangling by the 4 hour mark. Many others seem to find Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum as quite long-lasting around here, but it's just not the same for me, even after numerous try-outs. And projection is also hardly impressive, although not exactly inappropriate. I don't know about you, but I find overpowering floral fragrances that you can sense on someone from 5 feet away simply nauseating and headache-inducing. And so, given the strong emphasis on the floral accords here, a softer, more intimate projection seems the better fit. And on me, I got about 1 foot at best for the first half an hour or so, after which it would rapidly settle to a less-than-half-a-foot bubble around me. So indeed, you cannot call this good projection in any universe, but I'd argue that it's quite fitting. It's like it invites you to discover this beautiful bouquet from up close.

In terms of occasions, I feel that Tuberóza Extrait de Parfum would make a solid case for itself in pretty much any context. Work, school, dressed-up events, dates... and any other place where you'd want a pleasant, but subtle floral scent. Definitely not clubbing or partying, as not only it might be too soft for those seeking to grab attention, but it is also not the type of fragrance that fits those messy, loud contexts. This is intensely floral, yet still delicate and sophisticated, and it should be worn as such.

But in the end, I can't get myself to give it any more than a 7.5/10 in terms of scent, simply because I'm just not the biggest white florals enjoyer. That doesn't mean I hate it. On the contrary, I'd enjoy an ever so dim whiff of this composition in the air, but just not coming off my skin. It doesn't fit my style, aside from also leaning in heavily feminine, and so I don't really enjoy wearing it. But if you find it the other way around for yourself, and you can justify its steep price tag, then I suppose you should grab onto this bouquet.

A Carnal Tuberose
One of the most seductive flowers of all is undoubtedly the Tuberose.
Of the legends surrounding this flower, think of it, native to Mexico and belonging to the agave family, which amplifies its narcotic scent at night, I have already spoken amply, but I can easily say that the one in this fragrance is absolutely the most carnal and overwhelming one I have smelled.
It is a flower that makes its scent felt from afar, like this perfume, which is so intense, and which I consider unfailing in the collection of lovers of this note so precious in perfumery.
I, for those who have realised it, prefer it in other interpretations, less provocative and more green, but I can't help but consider it one of the best tuberose creations there can ever be.
Of a shameless sensuality, excessive, but incredibly beautiful, magnetic, just like Marilyn Monroe, whom I cannot fail to mention in Andy Warhol's iconic portrait.

Very nice tuberose and white floral - but leans simple
This review is for a sample of Tuberoza that I received as part of the Nishani discovery set. This discovery set it a mixed bag of perfumes with very different tastes and personalities. It is perhaps worth ordering individual samples of the perfumes you are interested in.

Tuberoza is one of two tuberose scents in the Nishani discovery set, the other being Hundred Silent Ways. Tuberoza is a cleaner tuberose like Givenchy’s Desinvolte or L’Interdit, presenting itself as a tuberose-dominant white floral. This is the key distinction from Carnal Flower, which is a green perfume with tuberose notes, albeit a very lovely perfume. As its name implies, tuberose is present all times in the olfactory pyramid in Tuberoza.

The opening notes ylang-ylang and citrus add a greenish personality, though barely lasting an hour. I confess that I cannot distinguish all the notes listed in the opening notes. The orange note in the opening is beautiful, but also very fleeting. The heart notes - tuberose and jasmine mostly - take over completely after the first few minutes. These notes endure for 8-10 hours before disappearing. The base notes and the dry down that remains are vague - mild sandalwood and musk - more like a skin scent.

The performance is very good with moderate sillage and a longevity of more than 8 hours on skin. On clothes it lasts longer and continue to smell like the heart notes. So, I would recommend one spray on your clothes as well.

In summary, it is a good perfume if you are a tuberose enthusiast. You can get 50 ml for about $100, though I would prefer it to be around $75 or less. Similar to my opinion on Carnal Flower, I would hesitate buying Tuberoza if you have another good tuberose perfume in your collection. Carnal Flower is a better tuberose in my opinion, if you don’t mind the opening green notes.

One of my favourites from the Nishane discovery set
I like this a lot! One of my favourites from the Nishane sampler set I received. It has a beautiful opening, floral with some mild citrus. It smells vintage 1980s to me, but without being dated. It was still lovely over an hour later. I'm trying to figure out if it was the ylang ylang that I liked so much from this.

Banana-like ylang, slightly citrusy opening with a rich tuberose and jasmine following. Finishes on a slightly green, musky, woody blend.

Tuberose and ylang ylang are the main notes giving the scent a green banana tropical vibe. It is a big bold white flower perfume.

White floral and fairly fresh. Contrasts tuberose against jasmine with citrusy/orange touches and light greenness added in.

While i LOVED the opening and mid, specially in the air, the more it dries down the more expired hairspray i get from it.

I love white flower perfumes but this leaned too soapy and old-fashioned to me.

The first tuberose perfume that I didn't find too toilet-y. Beautiful green & fresh opening that develops into a creamy, intense tuberose
