In the ROSE VON KANDAHAR Une rose de Kandahar, there is a lot of love; I even see a certain resemblance to the famous No.2, of course with a different fragrance pyramid and different ingredients. In terms of "craftsmanship," however, it is comparable to what is personally the best scent from Tauer for me.
Unfortunately, I have only recently acquired this rarity and haven't really dissected it yet. But it is delicious, tasty, and seductively gourmand. I've never had such a delightful rose in my nose.
In the meantime, I must say that Mr. Tauer has achieved something extraordinary here. Not too much or too little of anything. And only the finest. That's how it should be. I am receiving praise everywhere, even though rose has always been somewhat problematic for me. But here, it is one of the most brilliant fragrances from the house of Tauer. I can already see that there is much more to discover. I think I need to get myself another bottle before everything is sold out again for quite a while.

At the moment, I still lack the right words for this extraordinary little fragrance. But one thing is certain, it is incredibly delicious, spicy, and profound. And yet, it doesn't scream too loudly. I would describe it as medium loud and close to the body. It is only sprayed on in special moods, not just because it is so expensive, but also because, due to its unique scent development, it unfortunately isn't always and everywhere wearable. And it indeed smells almost exactly as it is named. One can certainly associate it with South American temperament. Cinnamon, tonka bean, sandalwood, cardamom, and patchouli, which strangely do not appear in the pyramid, stand out particularly for me.
As I said, I am still not able to provide a closer descriptive explanation for this fragrance event. But one thing is certain, it is seductive. A very special one. I, for one, would almost throw myself around the neck of the person wearing it. Spicy, temperamental, and mysterious. A big THANK YOU to the perfumer for this gift.

A creation for explorers. The bottle is amazing!

With this little potion, AdP has achieved a truly great success. Rarely have I experienced a fragrance that so completely intoxicates my senses like Cologna Intensa Oud. A fantastic creation that I can't get enough of. It was the first fragrance I bought blind, and it hit me like a bomb.
Very mysterious. The oud is omnipresent for me, then comes the leather, followed by the typical AdP Intensa note. Given the high price, I have to restrain myself from regularly reaching for the "bottle." But the temptation is very, very great. And this is not as pronounced with all my treasures. Except perhaps for MF's TANGO and Il Provumo's PATCHOULY NOIR.
A heavenly experience, I can only say, and one of my top 5. An all-time favorite, so to speak. The beauty is that you can wear it for almost all festivities and events. My surroundings are visibly impressed, and I receive nothing but praise with this noble juice. My bottle is currently only a third full, and I am already anxiously thinking about a reorder that will soon be due.

As APICIUS wrote here, actually unbearable. A blow to the snout. And to my shame, the scent develops extremely positively on my skin, leathery-pumatic I would say :-) When I ordered my Amour de Palazzo at Essenza, the nice staff included a rather generous sample of this fragrant delicacy. And my God, it doesn't actually smell that complex now, but it is very, very addictive. All the ingredients, I bet that not all components are listed up here in the top notes, are and seem to be harmoniously balanced in a pleasing, nose-flattering ratio. There was an artist at work, in the truest sense of the word. I don't know his little brother, the Complex, yet. But that will happen soon.
The only repulsive thing about this essence is the price. It can really send shivers down your spine. Maybe someone will take pity on me :-))

Finally, I have it. I’ve been so eager for this the whole time.
Has this noble brew ever been available in a “proper” spray bottle?
Well, I ordered it, and 5 days later it arrived. With trembling hands, I opened the completely black-wrapped package, very stylish overall.
I found what felt like 100 Serge samples packed in a small black fragrance pouch. Everything made with love and countless business cards from the shop in France. You can tell where it all comes from.
Then the small blue-black fragrance box was unpacked, revealing a slightly rounded, noble splash bottle with a glass cap. I already knew beforehand that it wasn’t a vaporizer that “protected” the contents. But after taking a whiff of the visually delicious contents, this fact faded somewhat into the background.
A fragrance explosion follows another, and I realize that there are certainly even more noble ingredients contained here than are described in the fragrance pyramid above. Omnipresent, of course, is the myrrh, followed by sandalwood and then a bouquet of herbal-sweet flowers. Simply delicious. It will take me a while to figure out what exactly is all packed in here in detail.
The only thing that is somewhat off-putting is the price, 150 euros plus 12.50 shipping costs. But well, what wouldn’t one do to get their desired fragrances? And I purchased a black bottle, suitable for the guy, at “Aus Liebe zum Duft,” so that the noble juice doesn’t constantly come into contact with the skin and thus protect it from premature decomposition.

Forgive this fragrance, for it knows not what it does.
