T17: Tobacco Honey
This fragrance was my discovery on my trip to Saudi Arabia. Of all the scents presented to me at the Taif store in Mecca, T17 immediately stood out.

A brief note about the experience at the Taif store: The salesperson was really extremely friendly, and the service + ambiance were simply top-notch. After being served coffee and dates, he showed me almost everything the store had to offer. I also really liked the oils and bakhoors.

About the perfume itself: I love the combination of sweet notes like honey and dates with deeper notes like tobacco and oud. It’s no coincidence that Nefs is my number 1, and a look at my collection shows that I enjoy owning several such fragrances.

With T17, the honey note dominates for me, which feels almost "thick" as if one had smeared honey on their arm. Nevertheless, I don’t find it too sweet, as the oud and tobacco round it out beautifully. The scent reminds me a bit of "Amber Gold | XerJoff," but the test was too long ago to be completely sure.

Overall, I am very convinced by this fragrance and look forward to wearing it and being reminded of the beautiful time of my Umrah each time.

The Perfect Oud Fragrance
For me, Oud Republic is the perfect Oud fragrance. Unlike many other Oud fragrances, I am not overwhelmed by animalic notes here.
Instead, the warm woody notes of the Oud are more prominent. These are then perfectly rounded off with floral notes like rose, which I personally find quite noticeable.
Overall, a must-buy if you want an Oud fragrance that does not overwhelm and remind you of a stable.
