A Minimal Like, not a love
I was expecting to be wowed by this fragrance…but no. This is a nice Oud caramel composition with elements of chocolate shining through. It falls short in being a masterpiece as it doesn’t stand out as a fragrance that is “groundbreaking”. I’ll also take off points for performance; this is an average wear fragrance; which is strange for Maison Crivelli fragrances. I literally had to spray multiple times to get it to project. Compared to its peers; Oud Maracuja and Hibiscus Mahajad, the performance is quite abysmal. I’ll rate this a 2.5 out of 5.

Sweet and Fresh…Not a Dupe!
Make no mistake, this is NOT a dupe of anything. It is an original creation that is sweet yet retains some freshness from the green mandarin. It has a fizzy like quality to it that prevents it from being cloying in its sweetness, making it great in the heat / humidity of summer (I tried it in NYC) and I can imagine across other temps. It’s been 3 days I enjoy wearing it on its own and also layered. Lattafa did a fantastic job working with two perfumers to bring this to life. Again, it’s an original creation and NOT a dupe! Ladies, get it!

A milky, sweet tea…Gris Charnel’s distant Cousin
First off, this DOES NOT smell like any masculine fragrance indicated including Dior Pour Homme. 1886 by Lattafa is a feminine fragrance that feels very warm and cozy with creamy and milk tea like nuances. I wore it while it rained in Los Angeles this December and it was just the perfect fragrance to set the mood of the season. It lasts quite a while on clothes and I got a compliment while shopping in my local Whole Foods. I won’t calm this a dupe but if there’s a fragrance with similar aspects, I’ll say, it slightly relates to the nuances of Gris Charnel. But sweeter and creamier. It’s a gorgeous fragrance!

Dupe of The Only One Intense for Women
This is a creamy floral thanks to the coconut, Jasmine and Orange Blossom. It is bright, heady and just a darling ultra feminine fragrance. It merges the worlds of these clsssic notes found in The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense by Dolce&Gabbana, giving you an ultimate fragrance for women. I have both fragrances in my wrists and can’t tell them apart. Also, I am wearing this right now on my clothes and it projects so heavily with a beautiful scent trail. I love this and will definitely recommend for any lady who wants to feel very feminine.

Leather and Spice
Caramel Oud is a leather focused fragrance. It opens up front and center with a huge blast of leather, metal and and a kitchen sink spice accord. Is it cumin? Hmmmm. Interesting. It also has a slightly bitter presence at the top. Surprisingly, there is also no OUD permeating in this fragrance. Now, the sweetness peaks in as it dries down. I was expecting a gourmand fragrance but so far this is more masculine leaning with that leathery dominance. It also has a Middle Easternish feel as it settles in. Honestly, this may be challenging for some. So far, it’s a like.
