I was able to test it today. The lily is unmistakable, but not overwhelming, rather milky (even though I really doused myself with the stuff, and I don't like lilies, except in a vase). Furthermore, there is also something lilac-like detectable at the beginning. The undertone is determined by a powdery light musk, which lasts a very long time. The scent is really floral and very soapy at first, but becomes pleasantly powdery and subtle after about 30 minutes. I perceive it as an elegant fragrance for autumn and spring days, suitable for simple timeless outfits (blouse, jeans, and flat shoes, an expensive watch, and pearl earrings). Not a scent that would work as a head-turner for men. It rather conveys to men the feeling: If you approach me, be polite, have manners; if you're clumsy, you have no chance with me..... It somehow makes a woman seem unattainable!

I have a little daughter who is 10 months old. In the evenings, when the little one is freshly bathed and has just finished her vanilla-flavored Milumil porridge, and a bit of it is still stuck around her little mouth,...she smells almost exactly like this fragrance.
Douglas Rice smells like a combination of baby care products and vanilla porridge - powdery, very slightly floral and vanillic.
The scent is soft, gentle, but has good sillage...
Now I can smell like my little one in a competition,...I just hope my husband doesn't get the idea to stick a pacifier in my mouth when I complain.

Very strong resemblance to Hypnotic Poison, certainly less complex and a bit synthetic (explains the 9 euros it costs), but otherwise totally the same.... If Poison is too expensive for you, definitely give this a try!!! No, you know what, better save up for the Hypnotic Poison,... I’m now using it to scent my car seats,... lasts really well there,...

Where Yves Rocher usually doesn't shine with great longevity, this one holds up remarkably well. It starts off fresh, but very soapy, and transforms into a fantastic bouquet of lily of the valley and rose. Priced quite affordably and simply fantastic for everyday wear. By the way, I've found that this one is quite well-received by men, not necessarily as a femme fatale, more as innocently lovely,...

My favorite for years. I love this fragrance and it lasts incredibly long on me. Clean, clear, and so beautifully cozy. My top and signature scent.
