Smells like Hypnotic Poison
Excellent copy of Dior's Hypnotic Poson. Closer to the pre-reformulation formula (i.e. the version before 2006), therefore a warmly welcomed alternative for those who crave the "old" thing. Very good sillage and longevity. Ugly container, but who cares given the price (available in Italy, price around 7.00 Euros for 100 ml).

Completely Unjustified....
in my opinion, the fragrances from Tesori d'Oriente are treated very unfairly.

One might claim that such an inexpensive fragrance can really only serve as a room scent or a headache trigger - but that is far from the truth here. For 5-10 €, you get 100ml of EDT in practical metal bottles.

I received my bottle via eBay - but if you Google a bit, you can find other sources as well.

About the scent:

The Dragone is infamous as a Hypnotic Poison dupe - and yes, I really cannot deny the strong resemblance - one cannot deny it - it’s just too obvious ;-)

Freshly sprayed, I smell an almost hypnotizing sea of flowers - not white, pure flowers, but sultry ones, with thick, fleshy leaves and intoxicating colors that draw the gaze and won’t let go. Over time, the scent is quite... well... it doesn’t really have a proper development. It has more of a large, overpowering top note and a milder base.
The base still consists of this sea of flowers - but you are no longer in the midst of it. You stand a few steps away - a gentle waft of this floral scent swirls around your nose, mixed with (vanilla?) powder. Yes, a powderiness sets in for me - I think I smell vanilla, but not gourmand sweet, rather elegantly creamy.

While the Hypnotic Poison doesn’t make it to my shelf, I now have the second bottle of Dragone - and that says something.

Gentle Dragon
Cheap fragrances can indeed be nice and smell good. Of course, one must admit that some of these perfumes copy other, well-known manufacturers and smell a bit more unnatural due to a rather synthetic selection of ingredients, but they cost a fraction of the price. This may not be very good, but the fact that it doesn't have to be completely terrible is proven by Tesori d’Oriente with this fragrance here.

The scent:
It starts with a pleasantly smelling almond with a hint of apricot. Soon, you can also smell the vanilla, which together with the almond smells wonderful.
A little later, amber and a bit of musk join in (though I'm not sure if both are distinguishable here), but it still smells like almond and vanilla until the end, with a slight hint of woody notes in the background.

Longevity and sillage:
These points can be criticized a bit. The longevity is okay, as it lasts 5-6 hours, but the sillage could have been stronger. However, you can easily carry the bottle, which doesn't look too heavy, in your bag and spritz yourself more often if you feel like the scent is fading.

The bottle:
I haven't held the bottles from Tesori d’Oriente myself yet, but they look like they are made of aluminum and thus resemble deodorants. However, most of them are nicely designed. This one is red with a long, red cap and features the name of the fragrance in a simple but pretty frame. In the background, you can see a stylized dragon. Ahh, I love dragons!

Fiore del Dragone is a nice fragrance that smells quite pleasant. It is a bit weak in terms of longevity and sillage, but it can be worn not only in autumn and winter but also in spring and on not-too-scorching summer days.

This fragrance is referred to as a Hypnotic Poison dupe, but since I don't know HP (yet) or how it smells (yes, I’m ashamed…), I can't comment on that.

Del Dragone is considered unisex, but I find that Fiore del Dragone initially smells like a women's fragrance, even though the combination of almond and vanilla reminds one of tonka bean, which is a note found in many men's fragrances. Only after a few hours does the scent lean more towards unisex fragrances. It's definitely worth a test!

Warm Apricot-Vanilla Milk
This fragrance is often referred to as a Hypnotic Poison dupe. That caught my attention, as Hypnotic Poison has been one of my absolute favorite scents since early youth and continues to fascinate me despite numerous reformulations to this day.
I have now tested several HP dupes. Some I found rather poor, others surprisingly good (Roma by Rudy Profumi, for example). And some dupes turned out to be not dupes at all. Fiore del Dragone is one of those.
This year, I had the chance to test Fiore del Dragone in Italy. And I really like it. It strongly reminds me of HP, but it is not a classic dupe.
Fiore del Dragone develops in a completely different direction over time. The apricot note becomes very prominent and carries through the entire scent journey. The fragrance evolves much brighter and milkier than HP, much creamier and softer. Warm apricot-vanilla milk. It lacks the smoky and heavy notes like sandalwood that are quite present in HP.
Overall, a very beautiful and pleasant fragrance. The shower gel is also highly recommended.

Copy of Hypnotic Poison
Very strong resemblance to Hypnotic Poison, certainly less complex and a bit synthetic (explains the 9 euros it costs), but otherwise totally the same.... If Poison is too expensive for you, definitely give this a try!!! No, you know what, better save up for the Hypnotic Poison,... I’m now using it to scent my car seats,... lasts really well there,...

"Nice try, mum. Like Hypnotic P., but there's a note in it that really bothers me."
My daughter says I should buy her "the real thing."

I like it better than Hypnotic Poison. It's softer, just a feel-good scent. The almond-apricot opening is lovely, and the development is beautiful.

Definitely a Hypnotic Poison scent twin,
with a lot more almonds, no licorice note,
pleasant & suitable for everyday use ;)

Floral, spicy, vanilla-sweet, nice, but definitely not unisex for me. Considering the unbeatable price/performance ratio, a lovely women's fragrance.

The similarity to Hypnotic Poison edt is clearly recognizable. However, a creamier, softer, delicate, beautiful scent veil envelops you.

Hypnotic Poison for every day and every season... It's lighter and more delicate, but really well made and beautiful for the price.

A beautiful, subtly spicy fragrance with a delicate hint of almond and vanilla. Very harmonious composition with a cozy factor.
