Sitting in the home office again and thought, oh come on, test the gold.
Wow!
It starts, but only in the first second, somehow alcoholically fresh. But then it immediately kicks in with a burst of wonderfully balsamic vanilla with a dash of juniper, which I find quickly fades away. What remains is a light spiciness with creamy vanilla sweetness. Amber flashes through. I don't smell any wood at all.
I have the impression that it hardly develops any further after a short time.

A rounded - rather feminine - fragrance with a creamy, spicy, slightly vanilla note that lingers on the skin for a long time - simply cozy and not overpowering. For me, it can be worn for any occasion.

I like it very much, no question. Is it something special? Yes and no.
Do I want more of it? Also yes and no.
At the moment, I'm still missing the WOW effect to justify the price-performance ratio.
But who knows - my bottle is currently still well filled:)

Wonderful fragrance. I love vanilla, but I don't want to be overwhelmed by it. I feel warmly embraced here. The fragrance starts gently orangey. I perceive a slightly powdery, spicy sweetness before a light aromatic vanilla lingers on the skin for hours. For me, this is the perfect vanilla fragrance and one of the most beautiful. Simply superbly realized and love at first sniff. Definitely one of my top favorite fragrances.
If this fragrance is ever taken out of the range, I will have to save a lot until then to buy enough backups.

One of my favorites many years ago, you have fallen into oblivion. I remembered you recently. Are you still around? Yes, thank goodness. So you've moved back in with me. Almond blossom, jasmine transformed into soft vanilla - simply perfect. So feminine and elegant with a slightly powdery, creamy sweetness. Not sure about the depth of the fragrance and the longevity compared to the old batch, but in any case, always wearable for me and one of my absolute favorite fragrances.

...but only at second or third glance. I had it on my watch list and when I sniffed the fragrance card in Oberpollinger, 70 km away, I was thrilled. I found a spot on my arm to spray it on and after 10 minutes I knew I had to take it with me.
When I got home, I put on the fragrance, but what was it? The fragrance that initially enveloped me in a delicate cloud suddenly turned into sour rubber after 30 minutes? I suspect I had accidentally sprayed another fragrance over it when testing it, I couldn't explain it any other way.
That can't be right, €340 for the garbage can? Frustrated, I had to wash the fragrance off. A few days later, I tried again. This time I went for layering with Diorama as a base and it was something completely different - wonderful. Not a trace of plasticine left. But I wanted to enjoy the fragrance on its own. It can't be that I need two expensive fragrances to cover up the sour note, so new day, new luck. Freshly showered and oiled, I applied the fragrance. And what can I say: unbelievable! I have no talent for filtering or explaining all the fragrance notes, but I smell a delicate iris, perceive a slight spiciness from the coriander, and finally my beloved vanilla... A fantastic fragrance DNA developed. What can I say, my skin must have played a trick on me. Dans Paris has the potential to become my new signature.
And so I'm sitting here, wrapped up in this wonderful fragrance and could eat myself.
