My Love
Do you know the painting with the nymphs by John Waterhouse? Or the film The Magic of Malena? These images come to my mind when wearing this fragrance. Freshly hung linen bed sheets, outside in a wild garden. A beautiful woman, with casually pinned-up hair, wearing a button-up cotton dress, brushes a strand from her face. Her hands slightly dirty from fleeting gardening work. Self-confident, without needing to flaunt it. Sexy but understated. Elegant but by no means overdone. Connected to nature yet urban.

The scent evokes associations of classic yet cheeky, seductive femininity in me. Wearable at any time.

I discovered this fragrance years ago in a Whole Foods in the USA, and since then it has been my absolute favorite scent, even though it is quite affordable and some may find it lacking in complexity.
Now, I should mention that I would consider myself a bit of a hippie who likes natural scents and prefers things to be a bit more minimalistic.
I can also wear a fragrance that consists of just three components and sometimes feel more comfortable with that than with complex arrangements, which often seem too artificial and overloaded to me.

Not having a perfumer's nose, I unfortunately cannot elaborate on the fragrance pyramid, but I would describe the scent as a perfect clean fragrance with a sensual, woody component. It is very close to the body, and I imagine that sometimes it is hardly clear whether I just smell good or am wearing perfume. I personally like that a lot. And despite its cleanliness and restraint, I find it incredibly seductive and sexy and soft, all without being sweet or bitter or heavy. Simply perfect.

Unfortunately, this fragrance is only available from the USA, which comes with high shipping costs. I will keep looking for someone to bring me some from their vacation and in the meantime try to find a worthy counterpart in Germany. I would appreciate any tips. #love #ethno #clean

Old....
.... cat?

No, tiger! First association -> old gray-haired tiger playing with jungle moths. So with those large night moths with eyes on their wings. I also imagine that a polished church floor smells like this. With tiger fur... I recently watched a documentary about Satanic cults. Memories of that were also awakened by this little fragrance. And the old secretary of my grandmother smelled deep inside like this. Since I am not a super scent analyst, I can only capture my impressions here, which in this case border on the grotesque. For all those who want to smell like a Venus flytrap or moth attractant, this seems to be the right companion. But maybe it just smells like this on me. I will soon try it on others to see if my impression remains.
