Demachy in Bestform - Dior Homme Original (2020)
I am referring in this review to the "new" Dior Homme Original, which has been available sporadically since 2020.

For me, this is an almost perfect perfume and truly brings back the spirit of the original from 2005, which has fascinated me since my youth.
Regarding the scent: Sweet, but not excessively so like many other designer gourmands, luxurious spice yet still suitable for everyday wear, and a perfectly blended leather note in the background.
This is simply great art by Demachy!

I also find the performance convincing. The sillage is decent, but not exaggerated, and the longevity is more than sufficient. The price-performance ratio is, in my opinion, absolutely fair; I find the price very reasonable for the quality of the product. Niche brands could market such a great perfume for at least €200 and up.

In summary, it can be said that the 2020 Dior Homme Original, even 18 years after the release of its predecessor, is a very relevant perfume that suits almost any men's fragrance collection well. Here, one can definitely give a blind buy recommendation!

Scent 10/10
Longevity 8/10
Sillage 7/10
Bottle 9/10
Price/Performance 10/10

Signature Scent of the House of Chanel
A fabulous women's perfume that I first smelled around 1997. Since then, I have been enchanted by Coco and have gifted it several times.
It is a noble, luxurious, and rather heavy perfume with perfectly intertwined flowers & spices.
It has slightly less density & strength than it did back then, but it has only changed minimally and is still incredibly good!

The Most Overrated Prada
For me, this Prada is a bland clean-cut fragrance that is bright, pure, smooth, and polished.
The often-mentioned patchouli in the heart note is something I can only perceive very weakly, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to test the scent. Therefore, I can hardly detect any spiciness; it clearly tends towards a faceless soapy-powdery profile. At times, it reminds me of classic CD liquid soap.

Despite all the smooth cleanliness, it does not exude the elegance or luxury of other fragrances from this niche, but rather the opposite - it feels ordinary and completely insignificant. A rather mundane boring bourgeois scent that has nothing interesting to offer.
Compared to the good, but also overrated Prada L'Homme, which has a pleasant and elegantly soapy-powdery aura, Luna Rossa Black falls very, very short.

Regarding performance, I cannot agree with the majority; fitting with the bland scent, the sillage and longevity on skin and clothing are below average. On a test strip, I could only perceive it very subtly after 3-4 hours from just a few centimeters away.

The bottle, on the other hand, is really stylish, not ordinary, and makes a statement. However, it does not match the scent at all, just like the name of the perfume (something like "Prada White Noise pour Homme" would be more fitting).

In conclusion: For me, the most unnecessary of all modern Prada creations.
Moreover, for my perception of the scent, it has a completely wrong market positioning (name, design, bottle, advertising campaign).
And Top 76 of all time?! From my perspective, that's completely absurd.
Since the absolute majority sees it differently, it must be due to my nose ;-)

Underground Longevity & Sillage
In principle, the quality of the fragrance itself is irrelevant, as you can't smell it anyway.

On my skin, the perfume - without exaggeration! - is almost completely gone after a maximum of 30-40 minutes, rather less. Sillage is virtually nonexistent; no one will perceive the scent.

I have tried several batches and always purchased/tested in reputable brick-and-mortar perfumeries.
Everywhere the same.

Just a quick note about the scent: Individual notes are hardly perceivable due to the extremely low concentration, but spicy-woody (as Parfumo classifies the fragrance), it is in no way.

Conclusion: Completely unnecessary perfume, as you simply can't smell it. Pure disappointment!
