Among meadows, roses and woods, that’s where I live.
I don’t have much of anything,
it’s the complexity of minimalism,
where the beauty of my life lies.

The world around me,
I muted it’s noise,
only natures sounds,
are reaching me.

Surrounded by wide meadows,
I can see for miles,
and miles,
and miles.

I build a home with my hands,
I know every inch of it,
I used precious woods,
which I collected during the
adventures of my former self.

Cambodia, India, Malaysia,
memories that will never vanish,
within the walls of my home.

In my garden,
I grow my roses,
and now and then,
I think they look at me.

They gift me a heavenly smell,
sweet,
syrupy,
the romance of my life.

Townspeople,
they wouldn’t understand,
the beauty of living,
is a decision.

falling for you.
Leaves and tears,
victims of gravity,
both are unavoidable,
at this moment in time.

It’s been half an eternity,
since I’ve last looked into you
dark brown eyes,
paired with this cheeky smile,
and your wild sixties attitude.

Because you always had a faible,
to be the most exciting being in my life,

my fantast,
my shining example,

for how one can enjoy this life,
with less of everything.

And now,
after all this time,
we have met again,

dancing to our favourites from the past,
smelling like memories,
two souls in the forest,
our next move,
written in the stars,

just to say goodbye once more?

I sit here,
brooding at my desk,
to write down these lines,
and I realise:

It was you,
all the time,
it was you.

And I won’t waste another moment,
where you slip away from me.

I’m falling for you,
my eternal love.

facets of yellow
first rays of sunlight,
they tickled me awake,
so I wouldn’t miss out
on the wonder,
that was about to happen.

I found myself,
laying in wet grass,
with dew drops,
bathing in the morning sunlight.

this sparkling sea of gold,
it showed me all facets of yellow,
a bright wonderland,
a place of joy & hope.

and I smiled even more,
when I noticed,
that roses & tuberoses,
were growing around my body.

but suddenly,
the spirit of the sun,
it brought back memories,
impressions from my former self,
of one specific moment in time.

I remember myself,
relaxing in a hammock,
and enjoying some peaches,
while reading my favourite literature.

and the exotic trees,
that held my hammock,
they gave away an alluring smell,
soft like a cloud,
yet unusually intense.

autumn’s last breath,
I think that was it,
a brief moment,
that showed me all the facets of yellow,
and the beautiful memories,
that were lying within.

I‘m mad. You‘re mad.
…“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here”…
-
And if you don’t know yet where “here” is, I shall give you a hint:
A world full of wonders, no less real than your wildest dreams. A world to get lost in. And if you’re lost like Alice, you might eventually end up drinking tea with the maddest of them all, joking why a raven is like a writing-desk and having the most wOnDerful & cheerful time of your entire life. So without a moment of hesitation, you closed your eyes and got totally lost…
-
The large desk was richly covered with everything you could ask for and more as you arrived. The March Hare noticed you first, and as if it was a necessary thing, he threw carrots at you in the most arbitrarily way, and while none of them has actually hit you, the air around you was stirred up then. The smell of carrots with a slight spiciness surrounds you, when suddenly the Mad Hatter introduced himself with this more or less confusing question: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?” - as you were thinking about a(n) (un)possible answer to it, he then quickly skipped the topic, asking you if you would like some tea. You of course couldn’t resist, it’s tea time after all! “Green tea, black tea, …” “Black tea, please!” “With my secret ingredient I propose” “Surprise me!”, and just a blink later, the tea with spritz of milk was served. “A piece of cake also? No one can resist this sweet seduction.” “Yes please!”.

The cake, the tea, a spicy breeze of carrots that surrounds you and the smell of buttery iris from a blooming field makes your trip complete.

"When the day becomes the night and the sky becomes the sea, When the clock strikes heavy and there's no time for tea. And in our darkest hour, before my final rhyme, you will come back home to Wonderland and turn back the hands of time."

And you will return.

Interconnectedness.
We laugh,
we love,
we touch,
we cry,
every moment,
memorable.

Because who else can it be,
my desire,
my safe haven,
to let all these moments become so memorable?

Yesterday I thought of us,
dancing in lavender fields,
til the sun went asleep.

We lay down,
nature cares for us,
a wooden ground,
a bed soft like cashmere.

Cuddling and kissing,
inventing sensuality,
the night was ours.

Next morning,
sleepy eyes,
a breeze of vanilla,
that conquered our minds.

And then,
soft steps,
it’s a musk deer,
that was passing by.

Curious but shy,
we didn’t even blink,
it then came to us,
and let us think.

Interconnectedness.
“We” means more.
“We” are more.
