Spiced cream cheese frosting
One of the best gourmands I’ve come across. It takes that lactonic note that can come across as shampoo-y and spins it in the direction of cream cheese frosting. Creamy, sweet, delicately spiced.

It lasts and projects the whole day for me, though as the day goes on the black pepper becomes more prominent. Avoid wearing in the summer as it can get cloying.

Tea and Carrot Cake!
I bought a sample of this and I'm slightly upset at myself for buying the smallest bottle, because I like it a lot more than I thought I would!

It opens up with a musky, slightly spicy (which I think is the pepper note?) smell. As it begins to dry down, it turns more herbal and tea-like, and I can REALLY smell the carrot note coming through! When it dries down completely, it smells like carrot cake with frosting mixed with the tea note. It turns a bit more sweet and gourmand smelling, but still very much herby and tea-like, if that makes sense. It (slightly) reminds me of Rabbit, but a lot less sweet and more carrot-y.

The longevity and projection aren't great in my opinion, which is a shame because this perfume is really nice!!

elevated, musky gourmand
I had a sample of this laying around and decided to put it on after my shower today. I just went and ran errands and I felt *blushes* so pretty!

This is a very light, bright, almost dainty perfume. It is sort of chai tea, sort of carrot cake, but doesn't wear like a typical gourmand. Powdery but not old lady. A little herbal sum' sumthin' lies underneath.

Oh and it projects like hell! I was walking around in a constant cloud of Lost Alice for hours, and standing three feet away from people because I was worried I would choke them out. I believe the ambrette is the culprit, as I am particularly sensitive to musks - in the best way!

Love this but not convinced it is masculine enough for me to have on the shelf - even as a man who loves women's fragrances.

My favorite carrot cake.
The perfect olfactory metaphor for Chapter 7 of Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter Tea. To me, this is the perfect aroma of carrot cake. It's almost as if Alice secretly swiped her finger in the buttercream frosting to sneak a taste. Despite this, this is somehow not sweet to me? I really love how the perfumer has named all the phases: opening = Smell me! mid-notes = Eat me! base notes = Drink me!

In my humble opinion, it's a really interesting gourmand. It really takes you down the rabbit hole in the olfactory journey. However, silage and longevity leave a lot to be desired.

Beautiful Earl Grey tea latte scent
My favourite tea-note scent by far — definitively evocative of a creamy Earl Grey latte at a fancy afternoon tea. I don’t detect a lot of carrot nor frosting — but definitely a creamy yummy London Fog, never too much cream though and with hints of spices from carrot cakes nearby. A soft rose starts to come through in the background after a while, but smoothly blends with the tea latte which stays around until the end. Absolutely love this one.

(Also as a bonus, the atomiser on the 35mL bottle is fantastic!)

Lost Alice is sweet and creamy. Milky, buttery iris, slightly powdery, with black tea and a woody base. I don't smell any carrot.

Gourmand fans will be all over it. Iris is super carroty, kind of reminds me of baked carrot banana muffins. Longevity could be bit better

Someone in a fougere spilt tea shoving my face in carrot cake with extra cream cheese frosting. At times annoying, but deliciously on point.

Very disappointing. Initially citrusy, then turns into a mild, slightly green, fresh milk tea. Overall a pretty weak and generic scent

A nice rendition of afternoon tea, it's warming, lightly sweet/milky, and powdery but something is missing. It's cute and cheerful though.

Slightly carrot cake with cream cheese frosting mixed with shampoo clean girl aesthetic vibes. Not the creamy tea scent I was expecting.

Sharp vegetal opening, then it becomes a slightly powdery carrot cake. Not very sweet, but very organic and realistic herbal sweetness of carrot cake.

Lost Alice had to much of a carrot scent on me, and I could not detect the black tea I was hoping for.

Opens creamy-woody-sweet (Gris Charnel-esque) then goes spicy-powdery (some Reflection). Mainly creamy-aromatic w/ orris, poor drydown imo.
