Opening could be better!
I'm sorry but the opening of this fragrance is simply bad: it's incredibly chemical and chaotic to my nose.
In the dry down, it settles a little bit and becomes sweeter, with a hint of coffee mixed with violet notes, but I can't really describe the sensation..
It's a rather "weird" blend of aromas that don't evoke the pleasant feeling of a cup of coffee.
It's probably the combination of pineapple and saffron that's causing this repulsion, or maybe it's the note of butterscotch that reminds me of "toffee" but in a bad way.
In any case, it takes a few minutes for this transformation and the first minutes are quite challenging (In my opinion, a fragrance should be good from the beginning).
The performance is also nothing special, but as always, this could be different for someone else.
Lastly, I don't find any similarity with "Black Phantom Memento Mori | Kilian", absolutely none.
Apart from that, I'm not sure to really "hate it" It's simply very different from what I was expecting. That's the risk of blind buy.

Leather with an Incense Twist
Awesome scent! Yes, It has a strong resemblance to Ombre Leather, but I wouldn't classify it as a dupe.
Since the initial spray, it evokes the scent of dry leather, like stepping into a leather boutique..
As it settles down, the leather is elegantly enveloped by a light incense.
The mandarin note adds a sweet touch to the scent (which can make it similar to Tuscan Leather in some way) but is almost imperceptible.
The interesting aspect of Chevalier Noir is its affordability: for the price of a pizza (around 10 euros), You can purchase a fragrance extremely good, especially for the autumn/winter .
In terms of performance instead, it's not really long lasting on my skin (up to 3-4 hours) although it could be different for others.
The sillage has the right intensity, drawing curiosity but without becoming overpowering!
So in general I think it's a very good alternative to Ombre Leather, particularly for those on a tight budget :)
I recommend to try it guys!

A different tuberose
At first, I didn't like it right away, but as often happens, the scents that initially repel me end up becoming some of my favorites over time.
Yes, because here the note of tuberose has been masterfully crafted in a completely new and original way, and the initial effect could be a little bit "shocking."
But the combination with banana leaf is really spot-on.
It makes it green and fresh while still maintaining its narcotic-tropical character.
I'm completely addicted to this fragrance, especially in the drydown it's so good.
Monstrous performance in terms of longevity and sillage.
Definitely worth trying!

Fruity and creamy
Nektar, without beating around the bush, it's carrying me back to nostalgic feelings so it's very important for me.
The citrus and fruity notes delicately blend with honey, tonka bean and vanilla, but avoiding becoming overly sweet, thanks to a smoky/leathery note that tempers it a bit.
The opening, instead, is pungent and reminds me the smell of red berries or something similar (in fact, it is declared in the notes).
But overall It's a delicate and well-balanced composition, definitely unisex and suitable for all seasons.
The performance isn't outstanding, but it still has good longevity on my skin.
I highly recommended to try it.

A really well-crafted rose fragrance!
In the opening, the rose stands out immediately, specifically Bulgarian rose (Rose Otto®), which is not sharp but rather very delicate..
Right after, vanilla, sugar, and amber come in, further softening it and making the fragrance creamy and sweet.
In the background, you can also slightly smell some myrrh and incense, which give a unique touch to the fragrance that otherwise would be too flat.
The incense is there, but it's so well balanced that it doesn't feel overpowering or "church-like."
I agree that they have worked with repeated tests to achieve this result.. it seems like there's a lot of effort behind this fragrance.
The performance also is good, after spraying a couple of sprays in the evening, I could still smell it the next morning (obviously as a skin scent).
The only issue is that the brand it's hard to find here in Italy, since it's based in the USA, but they are planning to expand their market on Europe.
Great discovery!
