My 9-year old daughter is always eager to spray me with my scent of the day (which she sometimes chooses for me), to try samples on me, to give her meaning on this or that fragrance that I wear or try ("Can you still smell it ? - Yes, Daddy" Ok). She is patient enough to stroll in perfume shops and watch me try some perfumes... But she becomes shy when I propose her to test herself a perfume marketed for "grown-up".

Her stepmother told me that I may try and find a perfume for her.

We duly tried a few perfumes, on strips, on skin ("But are these ones for children? - Yes, honey try it on!). We settled our choice on this one. It was not available in our town, difficult to find online, but I found it in Brussels (of all places).

I got a 50ml bottle in a metallic box, along with a purse for something like 25 €. All lavishly adorned with flowers and berries... There was even a small bag of seeds, which we planted and which in time grew to flashy yellow flowers.

As for the perfume itself. It's flowers and berries all the way long. It's sweet as you might already have guessed, but not overly so. In the listed notes I can smell jasmine and lily of the valley, the "fruits" are red berries. I can't smell any vetiver or oakmoss here, maybe a bit of sandalwood. Overall it's youthful, I can see young girls and teenagers wearing it. It's an edp and on her skin the longevity is really great: a few sprays in the morning last till the evening.

Now she has her own perfume. She wears it on special occasions and brings the bottle in her purse during the holidays... Because you never know when there'll be a special occasion.

I might be in the minority here. I find it too... well... too leathery for me. My first impression was "ok this is a sweaty horse saddle after a rough ride". Then my opinion mellowed to a "Ok, fine, fine, I got your point, Ombré Leather. You are a beloved leather jacket".

I find the comment below very accurate "If you like the smell of pure leather, just go ahead and grab on, you won't regret it! But, as in any fragrance... sample it first, if its possible! " I do like the smell of pure leather, it is just that I don't see myself wearing it. I will gladly hand over my sample.

Thanks to the earlier reviewers for sharing their experience. I am not as skilled as they are, but here is my comment.
I really like this perfume. I don't find it especially masculine but I may be an unaware male wearer of masculine-leaning scents that thinks it's unisex :-)

I got a 8 ml decant from a subscription service and I really wish I could find a full bottle in Europe for a reasonable price.

The opening is very strong, but then there is this mellow, soft note that lingers for hours. I find it very calm and romantic. I pick this note also in "The Dreamer (Eau de Toilette) | Versace", so I guess it's tobacco flower.

Now my 8 ml are nearly out. It's no more available in the subscription scheme.
I guess I have to find an other perfume with this enticing note.
