Ima keep to myself
This fragrance feels like there's nothing new about it. In theory, I guess I myself even was thinking of somethin different/special. & the more I think about it, YSL chose to actually step outside the box in ways I guess not thought of....
.
The way this was developed was for a pretty versatile wear. Yet, it's even better probably for dress up/night out events.....
The way this makes me feel about MYSLF is something completely caught off guard.
.
The first spray, u almost can tell it's ambroxan based. But after that settles, big hits of citrus. The begamot is very noticeable, but so is the Tunisian Orange blossom.
The scent is almost linear & doesn't have too much of a top, middle, base a notes. It does last however, I believe on the cloths probably 6-7 HOURS. Off the skin maybe 5? But the base of Ambroxan is always present.
It's a.solid fragrance all in all but it is outside the box because it has a feminine touch but with the base of patchouli & ambrox, it saves the day for men who like to justify how they wear it.
.
For what it's worth......first time I wore it on a lunch date, I received a compliment from my date. So take it how u want it but
Either way, enjoy ya stay

UPDATE
I've worn this more & I actually think it's a lot sweeter than I originally thought but this scent is pleasant and I am going to try wearing it more during the fall months to see more reactions from it. .

Dazed & enthused
I grabbed up this scent because of Calvin Klein One Summer (2021 version). Just couldn't help myself, I loved the bottle design so much.
.
At first, I wasn't a big fan of the 2021 version because of the longevity. But the more I wore it, I loved it for what it was worth.
.
These scents are cheap, but very well blended. Doesn't smell cheap, but with as many versions as they have, im sure they can get a little boring..
That's not here in the "Summer Daze" though.
.
This scent is very well blended! It's sweet, tart, fresh, slightly aquatic & has a mild musky feel to it. The kumquat is the first thing you notice. The "ice tea" note comes out shortly after, probably about 5 mins into the scent. The problem is, it feels like the sent only last 5 mins lol. Jk......Not really, maybe last about 3-4 hours, after the first hour & a half it becomes a skin scent.
.
The dry down is musky yet still tart & cloudy, it's very unique in its own way. I think it's an easy reach on a summer day when you don't know what to wear that day.
.
I'd save it for summer but a warm spring, fall day/evening. It could be worn. Just reapply after about 3 hours. But it's pleasant, it's distinct, it's worth the cheap price you can get it for because of how unique the note breakdown is.
.
JUST GOTTA KEEP LIVING MAN!
...........L-I-V-I-N!

Wow.
I love the complexity of this scent!
It's simply sophisticated, it's elegant & yet very powerful, & also some what masculine.
.
When you first spray this fragrance on, you get a leather with green behind it, yet something slightly sweet & soft. The tulu balm really stands out with the vanilla, tomato leaf, leather & galbanum that almost makes it seem like it's got weight to it.
.
I can tell this scent will get you some compliments, it seems very pleasing to most people. It doesn't smell as sweet off the atomizer when u spray it into the cap or on a tester strip.....but on my skin it really shines!
.
This can be worn all year around, but in my humble opinion, I'd limit it to a summer night . I can see it really shining in the summer air!
But it will fill up a room so be careful on warm days. Savor this flavor & make sure you try this scent out! It's worth it!

A warm, spicy hug
This L'Intense by Guerlain is very pleasant to my nose. I enjoy the initial spray on my skin, instantly get a nice combo of Cardamom & that Chili note. A bit of almond in the back, that almost makes it slightly sweet, maybe even woody.
.
My thing is, you hear the phrase "L'intense", you instantly think, it's gonna be long lasting, heavy & almost like a cologne bomb. Now I'll say it lasts on my.skin probably 5-6 hours & only.projects for Maybe the first hour, maybe hour & ½ . To me that's not that "intense". I think with that name, Guerlain was implying that the note breakdown, the smell, makes it intense. It is spicy but pleasantly spicy not aggressively. Maybe a little sharp, but it's smooth. The fact it sits, very subtle yet present on the skin makes it very unique. Guerlain has that formula that just makes the scent do that. (Sit close to skin, yet still project to a degree)
.
I'll say this, wear this on a date night or even night out & you can't go wrong. Just don't expect to get a lot of compliments unless you're hugging a lot of people, reapplying the fragrance, or just catch a lot of people after applying it leaving the house. This can be worn in spring/summer, I guess I'd probably wait til a chilly night or winter. Because of the spiciness, it doesn't do bad in winter. Also drys down into a more vanilla/smokey fragrance so it could work in warm weather too.
Check this one out, could be a blind buy. Smells amazing to me

Bright & Sunny with a hint of boring
This scent isn't anything special. I enjoy it, and it last pretty long for a fresh scent. There's a sharp citrus at the top with a bit of the floral like notes behind it. It's warm citrus though, the cardamom really does its job.
.
I'll say this, I've gotten compliments.
.
The dry down is a bit boring to me, nothing exciting or anything to write home about. It's got a slight warmth in the base with woodiness behind it & still slight floralness from the lavender or geranium.
.
Id say wear it on vacation or on a really nice day. The name is 831 San Lucas and thats for Cabo san lucas Mexico. Considering I've been there as recent as this yr (April) it's definitely a scent made for warm weather. & feel FREE to overspray!
