CK One Summer Daze Calvin Klein 2022

I grabbed up this scent because of Calvin Klein One Summer (2021 version). Just couldn't help myself, I loved the bottle design so much.

At first, I wasn't a big fan of the 2021 version because of the longevity. But the more I wore it, I loved it for what it was worth.

These scents are cheap, but very well blended. Doesn't smell cheap, but with as many versions as they have, im sure they can get a little boring..
That's not here in the "Summer Daze" though.

This scent is very well blended! It's sweet, tart, fresh, slightly aquatic & has a mild musky feel to it. The kumquat is the first thing you notice. The "ice tea" note comes out shortly after, probably about 5 mins into the scent. The problem is, it feels like the sent only last 5 mins lol. Jk......Not really, maybe last about 3-4 hours, after the first hour & a half it becomes a skin scent.

The dry down is musky yet still tart & cloudy, it's very unique in its own way. I think it's an easy reach on a summer day when you don't know what to wear that day.

I'd save it for summer but a warm spring, fall day/evening. It could be worn. Just reapply after about 3 hours. But it's pleasant, it's distinct, it's worth the cheap price you can get it for because of how unique the note breakdown is.

CK One Summer is a very refreshing fragrance that contains kumquat as the main scent. The idea of ​​the fragrance is completely based on it, hence the light orange color of the bottle. Then come the scents of iced tea and then light mint on a base of Sorbettolide (musk): comfortable, soft, fruity, clean, powdery, and sensual notes… similar to the smell of skin. Overall it gives the feeling that you are drinking a can of Fanta orange.

This fragrance is suitable for after showering in the summer, and it is also suitable as a first-class refreshing home fragrance.

The fragrance performance is below average and lasts for about an hour or two with a very close scent on the skin.

Disappointed? No, definitely not. The longevity should be clear to everyone. 4-5 hours. That's all there is.
The new 2022 fragrance smells incredibly strong of mandarins. This makes it beautifully fresh. I can't actually smell anything more - and that's okay.
Visually, of course, in the familiar style.

I am always on the lookout for summer scents and was curious about what CK would bring to the market this year. And I am pleasantly surprised: the fragrance is fresh, yet summery-warm, and it is hard to overdo it. It is somewhat "watery," meaning the scent lasts about four to five hours, after which it "fades" away.
The fragrance is designed as a unisex Eau de Toilette, but this year it is more herbal and less soft than it was last year. A fruity sweetness (kumquat) is noticeable, but it does not dominate. The fresh mint quickly comes into play as a companion. I like this scent; for me, it is mainly perfect for warm summer evenings, but it also works during the day.

... sitting on the porch in a rocking chair in the southern states, enjoying a ginger/mint iced tea, with a bowl of kumquats beside me. I take one and bite into it. Simply delicious. We talk about everything under the sun and look out at the park surrounding the mansion.

Upon applying this perfume, a fruity freshness hits the nose. The aromas of the iced tea join in, adding a tea vibe to it. This is then softened and cleaned up a bit, enhancing the fruity note. Vetiver makes it dry and adds a light citrus accord.

The longevity and sillage are moderate.

This unisex fragrance is a wonderful perfume for warm to hot days that can be worn for any occasion on such days. To enjoy it longer, the bottle should be tucked away or a small decant taken along.
